The Caverns Below has just been nerfed and I was just asking if you disenchanted it. I will personally wait, but it interesting to see the community response.
It was a cheesy enough deck when it was there— kind of self-aggrandizing when your opponent just shat out a bunch of token Flame elementals and then has 5/5 Charge boars the rest of the game. Making the requirement 5 should make it at least a little bit less annoying to play against in the runup to when they play it. If I had it I would dust it anyway because I don't really appreciate that kind of cheese.
can i ask something - how long can someone wait, before they lose the full DE value?
I was also one of those people, who votes YES, i think the quest would be very hard to complete, but I would still like to say wait until the devs reveal more KoFT cards and see whether the deck is completable or not
edit: ty Chimera for the response well, OP, this was your answer
There's no reason to keep it, if you want it later you can recraft it without losing any dust.
Exactly. I am dusting mine in a few more days. The quest seems useless at this point, can't get past rank 19 in standard. Anyone who keeps it will just lose 1200 dust.
I honestly never ran the card because although it wasn't a 100% guarantee win I still found the deck that came out from it to be uninspired and boring (no offense to those that like it my style is more control). But yeah only kept it before because there was no point dusting it I didn't need anything at the moment and it didn't give dust worth a legendary. Dusted it immediately yesterday though and gonna keep the dust for any legendary that comes out in the next expansion that I dont get that I find interesting or might be fun to play.
I played quest rogue at rank ~5 a few time ago(when it was BR0KEN), didn't enjoyed playing it since I was losing a lot vs aggro. Definitely disenchant.
5 minions with the same name is a huge difference to 4 minions. I didn't think about the nerf after teh update, played with quest rogue and of course lost badly :)
Then I briefly tried to make it work, but I couldn't. And although I didn't give it my best shot and there are surely better deckbuilders than I am, I am convinced this deck is dead. Maybe someone manages to make a Tier 3 deck with a different approach, but I doubt it.
The good Thing is that I recently opened another caverns below. So I got my 3200 dust. Nice.
card was fun for a couple days at the beginning of the xpac, anyone who played it longer was just abusing it. dust it and craft something more playable or if you're a long time player of that deck save the dust for whatever ridiculous card/cards they release in this upcoming set.
Hasn't changed much for me. I played 8 games this morning, went 6-2 with it. Had the quest done by turn 5-6 usually. Would have gone 7-1 but a priest lucked out on some RNG. But, that's rank 19. This card was already all but useless past rank 15. So instead of being good from 25-15 now it's good from 25-18. I suspect people still won't shut up about it. That said, I hate playing against it and hope it goes away, I won't miss it.
I'm much more concerned about freeze mage. I made a freeze mage deck that is very strong and it's even more frustrating and annoying to play against than quest rogue.
To everybody who still doesn't understand how huge was this nerf aka "now you will just play your Crystal Core on turn 5 instead of 4 xd": quest rogue numbers on ladder have dropped by 8(!) times; now crystal rogue is played less than warlock ffs; and this nerf is really huge indeed. Also you don't lose anything if you d/e TCB, but if you don't do it by 24th you lose 1.2k dust, so the poll needs a third option "YES FUCK THIS CARD" (in all caps ofc).

Also, I dusted it to get the 1,600. I can always recraft it later, net 0 dust. But I haven't really played this deck in a month so ... again, won't miss it.
There is not question, dust for the full value because if you regret that decision you always can craft again for 1600 dust but if you don't dust now and regret you never can dust for 1600 again, better safe than sorry.

Oops, question should be: Should The Caverns Below be disenchanted.

speed, momentum, violence
Take the dust value now and make a decision later. Better to have dust than a potentially dead card

Yes. The deck is still playable, but with an expansion upcoming, that 1600 dust will be sweet. You can always recraft if you really miss it.

Unfortunately, the dust refund expires on the day they resume the reveal. If you are hard up for dust, you may as well dust it.
