I tried an aggressive quest priest last season. I called it 'awaken the lepers'. Not an original idea, but it nearly worked. The priest quest gets finished a lot more quickly if you play all the 1 and 2 and 3 mana death rattles - quickly enough to save you from hunters and pirate warriors even.
The problem with this was that it ran out of steam and lacked draw, and often you ended up one death rattle away from completing the quest. This card will solve that problem. You put it in a deck with other low cost deathrattles, and it moves you 2 steps closer to having 40 health and an 8/8 taunt. It doesn't matter how far behind you get on board because you have dragonfire potions to clean up after your health is reset.
No, the card is rather shallow, too. She does her thing, and there's nothing you can do to play around it or predict what will happen. The fact that she is only willing to dig up the first body she sees instead of looking for the best is also rather short-sighted and shallow of her.

Terrible for tempo, and honestly doesn't do much for card advantage either. Maybe, just maybe, in quest priest to ensure completion. But then again, no one plays quest priest anyway.

Maybe playable in Wild...
I still don't get the logic of giving it such a shitty statline.
FOR THE HORDE!
Has anyone else noticed that it makes more sense if it's called Shallowgrave Digger rather than the gravedigger herself being shallow XD

And I took that joke way too far.

Baron Rivendare, Spiritsinger Umbra..I can see DUPLICATING in my future!
What annoys me is that the second 'Deathrattle' isn't bolded too... like every other Deathrattle related card there is. Spiritsinger Umbra, Awaken the Makers, N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Journey Below....
EDIT: Hang on, the official version is bolded, it's just this one that isn't. Oh well!
please consider voting for my custom class in the fan creations competition :]
