Why is this not discover? Or better stats? Even then it's not playable, unless there are just good deathrattles. Even if there are good deathrattles, they said there would be alot of them so you'll have more of a chance of discovering trash. Maybe they are fucking with us, revealing an unplayable deathrattle minion as the first deathrattle in a heavy deathrattle set. Deathrattle.
Well, a big step forward compared to the 3 mana 3/1 deal 2 damage in MSOG, but still not good enough. But im confident we'll have a lot more crazy deathrattles in this set (Sindragosa?)
I'm between bad and playable on this one. It's stats are terrible for a 3 mana card, and this doesn't seem anywhere near as good as the similar card Stone Hill Defender. Stone Hill has better stats and you get to discover your drawn card as a battlecry. This one generates a random minion as a deathrattle and has terrible stats. The only way this is playable is if it fits into some kind of Priest Quest deck or N'Zoth deck.
An okay value card for deathrattle decks. If it released today, it would see fringe play in nzoth paladin, jade rogue and quest priest. It wouldn't elevate any very much. Bad right now.
When we compare it to Stonehill Defender, we see some quick flaws about this. Not only does this have WAY worse stats. The cards are not discoverable.
This is not even considerable in Priest. Even Polluted Hoarder is better considering better statline + effect.
The priest already have ok options in 4 manas slot, this card fit the 3 manas slot lacking in that deck and give for the priest a chance to get a premium deathrattle minion like Pyros, Sherazin or Tirion.
That said probably quest priest remain only be playable in Wild.

this is good for resource bait. enemy need to trade at least with one card and you get a deathrattle card. even ping by mage cost them 2 mana. so they skip one turn to kill this
A card with a statline this bad, providing negative tempo, would only work in a deck with enough draw/board clear to stall the game till win condition. Quest priest is not such a deck. It is way more midrangy than other priest decks and has less draw. It already has 1 card less at start, if it then also loses tempo it simply has no chance of coming back. It cant afford to play terrible cards tempowise. And even in a vacuum this should never see play, cause it is just bad to get a random outcome out of a random pool by DR that doesnt affect the board.

Therefore Loot Hoarder pretty much strictly better. Will not see play even in Amara Priest and NZoth.
When I NZoth I want my board to be consistently scary, not filled with a few 3/1s and whatever the randomly generated deathrattle minion was.

Probably okay for arena, but not being able to discover a deathrattle card and having only 1 HP makes this unplayable in constructed.
Even for the quest you're better off with better DR cards and card draw.

In arena every card is bad now with 1 health because of Mage and Rogue are so dominant and probably they will remain dominant but who knows?
In constructed....1 health.....if only it would be a 3/2 or even a 2/2:(

That's is the kind of cards we DON'T need in HS now: terrible stats, slow effect. I doubt it will see play.
