This could be cool in a N'Zoth Control Deck, because when you make a Zombeast it's very likely you'll be given an option with a deathrattle, and then the zombeast could be resummoned. I like how Blizzard is trying to steer us in the direction of control hunter, because face hunter is getting old.
6 mana consec isn't that great and the build-a-beast hero power seems way too slow. Most beasts will cost alot of mana to play, so your tempo will be ruined. Also, this doesn't fit with what hunter usually wants to do, which is play a tempo oriented aggressive strategy.
I will say it's bad because control hunter never was a thing, but I hope I'm wrong.
Total agree unfortunately... been loving mid-range hunter ever since day 0, Frozen Throne be just sweeping it away... After turn 8-9 Hunter simply disappears. Hero Power's just useless, 2+ cost of a decent beast can't just match already Jade Druid or Lich Jaina
Unplayable - and useless. Pay 2 to discover, say, Rhino and Cobra; gonna play that at turn 7? By that time Mage or even Priest'll have already smashed Hunter's face...
TL;DR - Without spells or a weapon to help contest board and early game, this card is facing a kind of bleak future.
So far, most of the death knights released are either focused on a class archetype (Mage), or designed so well that they could technically fit into most existing class decks, although not perfectly (Priest, Rogue).
This death knight lacks clear direction, and the cards hunter has received - white interesting and even powerful in some cases on their own - don't seem to support a slightly more defensive hunter. Right now, this card is (very sadly) facing the real threat of being yet another hunter legendary that just couldn't deliver a meta-defining impact on the game. Hunter needs its last two cards that will be revealed today to be excellent spells that help control the board, or even a powerful midrange weapon and a spell, or hunter faces another season with tier 3 and lower decks.
Please, Blizzard, don't leave hunter out in the cold here. There is so much promise in this new expansion, and if we could get fairly equal power levels in the 9 classes (LOL I know, funny funny joke to wish that), we'd all be happier as players, which means MORE players, higher chances of purchase, and more money and playtime from us and for you! I know Blizzard won't see this (most likely), but still, I'm saying it juuuuust in case.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Rexxar's DK hero power is the most value generating among all others' so far (Valeera's may be comparable only). The problem is, Hunter is too fragile now to play slow value games. He just dies to fireballs, ashbringers etc.
I don't know guys, could be a very good Midrange card.
Once you've played Savannah Highmane, you've already won or lost. With this card, you can last a little longer. Armor and board clear to counter aggro/midrange decks and then you simply have the best control Hero Power in the game. Compare it to Life Tap ! You don't care about topdecking anymore since even Control Warrior won't be able to outlast you. Every single turn you can play a 6-8 mana broken minion. You don't need combo, just value minions.
This card is really bad in a really aggressive Midrange deck, but in Wild where you can play slightly slower decks with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, this card can be nuts.
I think this is one of the most underrated cards in the set. In the midrange list if you stay on board early, you pop this one in, do a 2 damage aoe to enemy minions and you get a hero power that supplies you with infinite value. Quite decent tempo and value card. Plus some zombeast combinations can be ridiculously powerful, for example you stick a big ass body on 2/4 kodo for 4 and you get a powerful tempo minion which will deal X damage. There is also stonetusk boar, tundra rhino and many others.

You cant pick cards that are 6 and more mana.
I am a gud boi

It's a midrange tool, not a control one.

So cool! Let's hope for a viable control Hunter!
12 wins in ArenA with: Mage and Paladin, first time legend with Rogue
Voted playable.

If the hero power was 0 mana I'd say it's an aight card...2 mana? Lol no thanks

Way to slow!
I tried and tried to make Dinomancy work, and sometimes it did, but sadly paying 2 mana on top of the actual cost of the beasts isn't value.

I won't craft this blindly, but if I pull it from a pack, I'll gladly replace my Sylvanas Windrunner with Deathstalker Rexxar in my Deathrattle Hunter.

the cost of DKs is basically aprox effect cost armour and hero power.
For Rexxar you got 1 mana 5 armour 3 mana 2 damage aoe (a worse consecration) and 2 mana hp cost so you got 6 MANA
For Druid the same 1 mana armour 5 mana taunts/poisonous and 2 mana hp so you got 8 mana
Paladin also got 1 mana armour about 7 mana weapon and 2 mana hp and you got 10 mana but the hp isn't that great imo so they made it cheaper
and so on except rogue wich is more expensive bcs of passive hero power value
seems worst DK. meta is very fast. you can't use it also not easy to create good zombeast. hunter stepchild.
