I don't know about you, but it's been 6 months already of having the worst designed card in history of any card game. Tired of seeing it, tired of being forced to play this piece of shit in almost every deck. (And playing it is NOT optional in many decks. If you don't include it then your deck will suck).
They nerfed a card that wasn't a problem to avoid killing this card, why? I don't get it. Why not just kill this cancer card and be done with it?
I tried putting the pirate package in my elemental shaman(2x Bloodsail Corsair + Patches the Pirate) with reference to popular elemental shaman decks. Lost every single game. Removed him. now have 60% win rate. Patches is only good in quest rogue and pirate warrior. No wonder vicious syndicate state that shaman is in a bad state.
Patches the Pirate is a strong but not OP card and when you said it's an "auto-include" in each of your deck it's probably because you play only aggro ones, so yes: it's a very important piece of that kind of archetype, not fundamental but it gives you an extra edge for sure.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
All agrro decks expect mill rouge include patches cuz its extra tempo on ussualy on begining of the game ,in current state of meta its ultra easy to neutralize him and that extra tempo there always will be some cards someone will not like get used to it ,but i agree that cutting 1 card from deck makin your draw better and givin that extra 1:1 body is strong but deffinitly not op ,just go control :P

S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman
Because patches is a nice card, a good one but not an op one.. and it is far from what you say, you can not have it on your deck snd it's ok..
Yeah, a toast!
Complains about Aggro
Meanwhile, I don't even have patches. This indicates you certainly do not have to play it in every deck by a longshot.

Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.
