What are worst cards in Un'Goro in your opinion? So cards that are either overpowered or completly useless.
Here's my list:
Rogue:
- The Caverns Below I don't consider this card good, it's pretty bad in most cases, but if your opponent gets a dream hand you most likely have lost. It's card that angers you, because you know that you could have done nothing to prevent a loss.
Vilespine Slayer it's basically assassinate and you also get 3/4 on the board. It's super annoying in arena. Sure it's combo but we are talking about Rogue's, you have backstabs, hallucinations and so many low cost cards that can be used as an activator. Pretty much unnecessarily addition to already strong class. Just taking it a step further.
Biteweed It's just a worse version of VanCleef. If you want to play Miralce Rogue you will have to invest into crafting VanCleef, this card is no where good enough to make a cut in any deck and it's basically useless. If VanCleef goes to Hall Of Fame this card might become playable.
Druid:
Jungle Giants Card is way too slow for current meta and there are other druid decks that just preform much better.
Elder Longneck This is obviously a filler card and it was not intended to be played in constructed.
Hunter:
Crackling Razormaw One of the most powerful Un'Goro cards. No one would even dare to make a hunter deck without this card. Because it's so good. It's a standard 2 drop with really powerful battlecry which can pretty much end even the biggest cards as Tyrantus if you get poisonous (1/3 not that uncommon).
The Marsh Queen Forces you to add many 1 drops into your deck which can't really keep the board which is really bad for hunter and your draws are very inconsistent.
Mage:
Primordial Glyph Card that will probably be played for 2 years straight, too good to pass. It gives you so much value. You can discover situational cards, you can discover lethals. It almost never disappoints.
Meteor Not sure if devs were drunk when they thought of this card or what. They've taken Explosive Shot and for 1 mana they added on to it 1/10/1. Such a hard card to play around.
Paladin:
Spikeridged Steed It's basically Ysera worth of stats in 6 mana card and it gives you so much time to prepare your combos, delay the lethal until you draw somthing that can keep you alive etc.
Priest:
Binding Heal Useless card 99% of the time. Only reason you would ever want this card is as Lyra the Sunshard activator.
Warlock:
Lakkari Sacrifice don't that i've ever seen anyone playing this card. It's seriously underwhelming. Discard mechanic is fun but it can usually backfire. And this card asks you to play 3 cards atleast and discard 6. That's a lot of cards for 6/4 each turn. And by that point you've barley played anything useful, you've destroyed a lot of cards you don't really have a way of comeback. Too much work for an okay reward.
Warrior:
Fire Plume's Heart Here is a guide for deck built around this card. Step 1. Make a deck with a lot of taunts. Step 2. Invite your 3 year old nephew and tell him just to play anything each turn. Step 4. Profit?
Netural:
Stonehill Defender Almost always will discover something good. Sometimes it's really fun to have 3 Tirion's in one game, isn't it?
Sabretooth Stalker Bad distribution of stats. Easily removed with any AoE.
I did not forget Shaman i just don't think that it has recived any cards that are impactful on meta. They are okay, can be played, but they are simply not bad nor great.
Binding Heal is actually a really good card for priest. I played an awful lot of dragon priest last season. On its face it may not seem like much but keep in mind as priest you generate or can generate a ton of free cards. A 1 mana spell that does the following is huge.
1)You need a way to heal up after you stabilize vs aggro. Binding heal and priest of the feasts are your way to do this. If you combo both you heal for 8 health. You can run some decks like burn mage out of damage after they drop alex. I've stolen ice block and then dropped 2x priest of the feast and 2x binding heal vs mage before bringing me back to 23 health, they conceded.
2) It cycles with cleric out. Often it's helpful to drop a cleric, heal a minion, then throw binding heal on it. Your cleric doesn't often live a second turn, but twilight drake usually does.

Hmm maybe i didn't really see anyone playing that card, that's why i put it. And isn't Circle of healing better? In terms of card draw. And you already have so many low cost spell, Silence, Inner Fire, Potion of Madness etc. combined with Radiant Elemental you can go back to 30 in no time. It just seems more like a burden. There is a reason it's ran in only 11% priest decks.

Except, the spells you mentioned are mostly specific to a lyra silence/miracle priest package. If you run dragon priest, you are likely not running the lyra package and without lyra silence, circle, and inner fire are not very good.

Dragon priest is not as popular as it was during MSoG. Every 20th game will be against Dragon Priest. I don't think there is enough of them to be considered part of the meta.
How is Vilespine unnecessary? Rogue didn't have efficient removal for minions that are bigger than a 3/4 before Ungoro.
Assassinate? Shadow Strike? Betrayal possibly. Before that there was Sabotage. And now got Envenom weapon and Vilespine. And few poison cards. Sure they never saw any play, but he has them.

While that might be true to a degree, Rogue has always had good removal. Assassinate and sap are just two of the efficient removals that could easily get rid of a big taunt, big creature or set up lethal. Sap is one of the cheapest ways to basically removal a minion.
The problem with Vilespine is that is offers a super easy removal with a 3/4 body. with soo many cheap cards it is stupid easy to get value off it. Plus with envenom weapon is becomes a card just to break arena even more.

Its only not used because the priest deck for it isn't in standard. I put it in my wild dragon priest and it is very good against pirates.

According to data reaper live dragon priest represents 2.7% of the meta, it's played as much as many other meta decks and played more than silence priest. It's one of the 16 decks tracked by data reaper due to it's popularity and it maintains a 49% win rate. It is very much a meta deck by any reasonable definition of the word meta.
Just because the card isn't run in pirate warrior doesn't make it a bad card.

Pardon me than, i was talking from my personal experience. Guess that Dragon Pirest is played more than i've thought. But even with that said, not all dragon priests run that card otherwise, this card would be included in ~35% or more decks and yet it's only at 11%. I don't think that card is good. It can save you sure, but it's not really swing the game in your favor. At most it can prolong the game, but on it's own card is pretty useless.
Fire Plume's Heart Here is a guide for deck built around this card. Step 1. Make a deck with a lot of taunts. Step 2. Invite your 3 year old nephew and tell him just to play anything each turn. Step 4. Profit?
There's no doubt in my mind that in the next couple expansions, Spirit Echoes is going to help Shaman climb back into tier one with a deck. On the right board that card says "meh." to any aoe your opponent plays. I bet a good, cheap shaman battlecry thing would make it more prevalent.

I'm pretty sure "Step 3" comes after "Step 2" ;)
Ayy lmao. Fact that i wrote 3 year old nephew tripped me up. My mind was like 1, 2 there is a 3, so 4.
