Are you high on peyote? You get a card, a 3/3 and info on what isn't in their deck. I have people conceded when I get the card. Gee, I wonder if this Shaman runs Hex?
It's also likely to be a low drop as people tend to mulligan expensive cards, meaning it's a) easier to guess, and b) more likely relevant on turn 4.
Is that true? I didn't think it worked like that. I thought "started in your opponent's deck" means at the very beginning of the game, ie, one of the 30 cards in their decklist. Before the starting hand or the mulligan is drawn. It's still a great card, but I don't think the mana cost of the cards you see is relevant.
Ignore the shell-game aspect, and ask yourself if you would play a 3 mana 3/3 "Battlecry: Add a random class card from your opponents deck to your hand." Seems pretty solid to me.
This is NOT a draw or discover mechanic. It is more like a random card generator, like Swashburglar or Babbling Book.
It's not more like a random card generator like shashburglar, because that draws any random class card from your opponent. It is much more like drawing a card... from your opponent's deck, the point being that the quality of cards in your opponents deck will likely be much higher than a random class card, on average. It does not necessarily have synergy with your own deck, but the card drawn is, on average, better than a random class card.

you are correct. but a turn 3 3/3 for priest isnt terrible so they dont have to rely on having a t2 and talonpriest. generally priest wins through card advantage (same as CW) so its still a decent card. as long as you keep up with meta decks its a good card since you will rarely get anything unplayable (shield slam and astral) are the only cards i can think of that you really wouldnt want

Still worse than a real draw or discover-effect. Its a bit worse than drawing a card from your opponents deck, because it can fail.
Learn the game, timmee, this is not a draw effect.
This is where this entire post comes from.
It is a draw effect. It is only not a draw effect when you don't know the meta. People that think this card is bad thinks you will be guessing. How is it a guess when you get shown class cards that your opponent will never run. I have never missed a choice using this card.
This card is great, generally you're shown something like an Angry Chicken, a Sunwalker and an Equality against paladin, it's not very hard to pick what card started in their deck and generally that card you get is great + 3/3 isn't that bad of a body for a 3 drop.

It is not a draw effect. A draw effect gives you a card that fits your own deck so incredibly well that you decided to actually put that card into your own deck prior to the game. A draw effect will never give you a card that would be such a poor fit for your own deck that you decided to NOT put it into your own deck prior to the game.
But your opponent don't put any bad card in your deck.
Draw a card from your deck is a little better than get from your opponent, well, if exist a 3 manas 3/3 minion draw a card we put that instead...

Nope, only class cards show up in the cards it shows you.
I don't think the information gain is relevant, if you know the meta well enough to predict the card then you already know the other cards aren't in the opponents deck and the third card is. Solid 3/3 for 3 body though with a relevant effect so it's all good.
How exactly does it work anyways? Is one card rng-picked from the deck and the others are selected from the whole (class?) set OR from the class set minus cards in the deck?
In other words: is it possible that more than one card originates in the deck? I've had quite a few where I was pretty sure that there were two correct choices (p.e. Storm and Hex ).
If it can be two from the deck, the (already low) risk of a wrong choice might be even lower.
I choose once vs druid, he don't have played any card in the game and the options are Fandral, 4 manas 3/3 gain a crystal or a 2/2 and the new spell minion get +1/+1 and you armor equal the power, I think was the last one and was the 4 manas 3/3 minion.
All many other times choose right, it is almost 100%.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
A 3 mana 3/3 semi Drakonid Operative what's not to love...
Death to all who oppose the Horde!
I got rogue quest once, I was like "well shit I know what card it is, but what the fuck am I supposed to do with it?". stole it and played it anyway
If you thought this card was "shitty" then you got alot to learn about card games.
This card gives solid stats, draw/discover, and lets you scout their deck. That's a trinity of common sense goodness right there.
A fun card, but not very good.

Won me games against quest mages by giving me their quest, btw Priest can complete the mage quest faster than mages *themoreyouknow*
3/3/3 draw a card is good
Vvreeeew.
3 mana 3/3 generate a card that is good enough to see competitive play.

That's Incredible!
Have some fun for once in your life!

With this card I never choose the wrong card.
