I recently got Aya Blackpaw and was looking forward to playing around with the Jade Golem deck. But I've noticed that it's completely disappeared in Un'Goro. I read that it's too slow for this meta but surely this meta isn't any quicker than MSOG? Just wondering what's keeping them from being run as pre-release many thought they'd dominate even more.
Quest Rogues, Pirate Warrior, Egg Druids, Zoo decks etc more or less wrecks them. Besides losing Brann and Mulch hit Jade Druid hard. Hell even Taunt warrior can out-value them because games probably won't go to fatique due to their new hero power.
Meta is definitly much slower than previous one. There many control decks such as Taunt Warrior, Control Priest, Control Paladin, Quest Priest, Handlock. In the previous meta control decks disappeared because they couldn't catch up with jade golems in late game.
I think jades would be much efficientin this meta, the reason so few people play it would be the curiosty for the new cards. Un'goro created so many different decks than other expansions, It is the best expansion because of that. People are still trying different decks but i bet we will see more jade decks a few months later. (which i terribly fear)
The meta is too fast for jades to snowball. Also quest rogue beats everything that's not aggro. If pirates and quest rogue gets nerfed, jades could make a comeback.

A solid Jade Druid deck has been brewed and it's seeing some success.
The major reason is that most decks now have a win condition besides answer everything and wait for fatigue. Jade cannot last against any deck that can keep up with them, and can win before turn 15-20(ish). Not to mention their anti-aggro cards moved to wild
Not gonna lie, I played a Jade Druid deck while I started playing ladder this month. (I didn't unpack any legendaries and I waited to craft stuff) You can easily get to rank 15. But its almost impossible to get anywhere else past that. But thats just me
They got overruned by another cancer called Caverns Below.
not really Pirate warrior was already superior to the Jade Druid so impact of caverns below wouldn't effect the jade druids but they lost three spells which gives momentum to the Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Also they are unable to kill mid game big drops without letting opponent draw 2 constructed cards.

Jade Elemental Shaman is quite good. Wrecking Murloc Paladins at Rank 3 as we speak ;)
The only not boring card Raven Idol was moved to wild.
So all jade Druid Players just died of boredom in the first day of year of the Mamooth.
Played Jade Elemental Shaman tonight. Kalimos got put on the stage before Aya though.
Ran into a Buffadin running a C'thun deck along with way too many Un'Goro taunts.
People are trying new stuff, but the old stuff will get a chance.

Golden legendary cards opened: Ragnaros the Firelord, Auctionmaster Beardo, Kalimos, Primal Lord

I think Jade lost lot of is power due to the absence of Brann Bronzebeard. In my opinion Druid is the only viable class to run a "pure" Jade list.
Epilepsy Intensifies
Druid lost three important spells that is what happened. it was already a tier 2 deck and it didn't get anything to support jade deck
Mulch
Living Roots
Raven Idol

Rewatch Kolento's stream from yesterday. He had a successful Jade Druid build. I was close to finally crafting Aya.
