As much as I hate the Rogue quest, I wonder if I don't hate thé Mage quest even more. Play your 2 Ice Blocks, play your reward and sure, have basically 4 turns in a row on me. Great interactivity!!
I play exodia mage atm and the problem i have there is i always have one off those cards at the bottom i really need in time to do it.
i beat every rogue i faced with mydumb hunter deck. I agree between rogue, pirate, and hunter aggro is still the meta so all those "big bad beast and control decks" arent gonna be shit for awhile but yeah.

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
Oh no combo decks are faster than greedy control decks? Combo decks die horribly to aggro decks and the aggro decks are getting stomped by the control decks? It's almost like we finally have a proper meta, only took an entire year . . . .
There's zero card in game that counter the quest itself or buff.
There are zero cards in the game that counter most of the quests. The same things that counter the Rogue quest counter the Mage quest, you can't stop the warrior quest with even Counterspell. The Warlock quest is just a hard to fight, and the Druid and Shaman quest effects can't be stopped once the battlecry's occur.
You aren't supposed to stop the combo after it happens you have to beat it before it happens. Anyfin Can Happen was going to kill 100% of the time once it drew all 30 cards in its deck, but instead of complaining you can't fatigue Anyfin Paladin to death people rushed it down.
BUT I'm pretty sure all of you defending this quest are doing so because you are playing it! Aggro doesn't even work most the time. Believe me I tried it. Call me a scrub or whatever I don't care.
The rogue quest is broken. More broken than anything in hearthstone history.
A fair nerf in my opinion would be to put shadowstep to 1 mana. This way it would slow getting the quest completed at least a turn or two. It would also prevent you from using the boar or other pirates to hit face then back to hand and repeat as much as it does now. It wouldn't kill the quest but would slow it a few turns.
It's amazing how people can't wait before going mad and shouting about nerf. Un'goro has been out for 3 days, the meta still not existent, everybody (even the pro players) are experimenting... but no, everything that seems at a first glance OP should be nerfed asap.
Whining is just boring and useless, if Blizzard will ever make some fix then it will take MONTHS and they will eventually do something after monitoring the meta and the ladder for much more than a bunch of days after the release.
On the top of this, why everybody need to open a new thread to write down "NERF PL0X ROGUE'S QUEST OP"? Can't they use only one?

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

You all know this is true.
lol it isnt broken at all, and it certinly isnt more broken than, for instance, beta miracle rogue. Aggro works like a charm. If youre having that much trouble with it then you are, as you said, a scrub. For the record, I have access to every deck rn. I have no attachment to quest rogue other than that its fun and challenging to play.
A simple nerf like increasing the Quest to 5 minions instead of 4 would be enough IMO..
The thing is that I honestly believe Blizzard didn't think players would use the quest like that, with a bunch of 1 cost minions with charge and draw abilities. Not to mention how easy it is to do with Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental, which were not designed for the Rogue class.
Playing agro with Pirate Warrior is not the answer for Rogue Quest! ..by adding 2 Golakka Crawler you can really mess up any pirate deck. But what can you add to your deck to stop this Quest? :/
Nerfing ANYTHING that isn't completely and utterly gamebreaking this close to launch would be a horrible mistake, let the meta do its thing and if quest rogue is still dominant then scream at blizzard for a nerf
But if you're looking for a way to counter it now zoo paladin is the way to go, I believe out of my 20 matches against quest rogues I've lost two with zoo pally
It is pretty easy to out-tempo the deck tbh. I'm beating it easily with a midrange elemental shaman. The problem is that it shits on control decks and forces every other deck to play fast, wich is not what the game needs.
I've won more games against Quest Rogue than lost. the decks I used for this are Handlock (tech in 2x Shadowflame), Exodia Quest Mage (only problem is if they pull all the 5/5 charges early) midrange Hunter and Elemental Shaman with plenty of early game. either their quest would arrive too late or they'd get smashed before it was even a factor. I don't run Pirate Warrior, but by all reports Pirates just farm this deck.
it is certainly capable of unfair things, like turn 3/4 caverns played followed by chargers and a refilling hand, but this is no more or less unfair than some other sick deck openings that happen with the god hand across other classes.
all in all I haven't had a problem yet. do I think the quest is too easy to complete? a bit, if it was play 5 I think it would be alright.

ins't broken turn 5 you get the quest and turn 6 you deal 20 damage. Nice balanced.. are you joking ? It is broken yes
Pro players already not playing Quest rogue anymore. Guess why :)
L2P and don't cry over the "meta" two days in. Of course all those netdeckfags only play this shit, play elemental shaman for example, easy to win.
It's like a game of rock paper scissors. Aggro beats rogue, control beats aggro, rogue beats control. But honestly, RNG beats everything.

When your bad at hearthstone and dont realize that rogue quest gets recked my aggro face decks lmao

Miracle is still somewhat alive. Or well atleast i am playing a miracle rogue deck which does compete against most decks.
