I don't think people understand the concepts of over- and under-hyped, since people keep saying cards that everyone agrees are awful are over-hyped and that everyone agrees are amazing as under-hyped.
Anyhow, one card I have not really seen mentioned at all before this thread is Emerald Hive Queen, but I'd like to put a different twist on her, which is that she is might be AMAZING for the Paladin buff quest. I've tried out a pre-ungoro version with current Pally spells and found that very often I'm spending turns 2-4 playing only buff cards. Playing Emerald Hive Queen on turn 1 followed by quest and buff and turn 2 seems like a pretty solid opener. And if you can hero power and buff on 3 or play a couple more buffs, you still have not been hurt by the negative effect.
People have to see this little one make his turns to finally give the deserved respect: [card]Tortollan Primalist[/card
For this card to be worth playing you have to be able to pick a good enough spell to make up for an 8 mana 5/4 and not have the random targeting screw you. How many spells for one class even fit in that category?
The only card worth comboing from your list would be Pyros, but even then you would rather just play him as early as possible then wait and combo it with an otherwise useless card in your hand. If you use Spiritsinger Umbra to draw an additional card from Loot Hoarder or similar cards, then why not just play Gnomish Inventor instead? Cards like White Eyes and Savannah Highmane just become worse the longer you hold them back and Moat Lurker combos are way too slow.
I'm not saying that this card is bad, but its onlly going to see play in niche decks as a buildaround instead of being an autoinclude in all decks.
Who ever talked about holding cards back? My whole point was that you take cards already in your deck, like Loot Hoarder, and, if you didn't get them in your opening hand like you wanted, Umbra means you can still get value from them later on. Of course, you'd rather play Pyros early! The point is, sometimes you wont draw it early. Say your elemental deck didn't draw Igneous Elemental until turn 6 or 7 or whatever. With Umbra, you can still get value from those cards that you draw late. The result is not wombo-combos, but increased consistency.
The whole point of my post is that even if she doesn't set up crazy value combos (and I agree with you that she might not in Standard), she's still not overrated because she will be so universally useful. You wont be scared of her, but you will see her everywhere.
(And also, Umbra + Loot Hoarder is infinitely better than Gnomish Inventor: 2 minions, 5/5 stats, 2-card draw for 6 mana vs 1 minion 2/4 stats, 1 card draw for 4 mana. Plus, they have to kill Umbra, while they can ignore Gnomish Inventor. Also, you already want to run Loot Hoarder so it's not forcing you to run bad cards.)
Dinosize is being way underrated. Its very easy to make this card work in an aggro paladin with plenty of low cost minions with charge, i predict it will be the new cancer if Jade Druid remains on top.
Hemet, Jungle Hunter is underrated as an aggro card. Think about putting this in a deck with a bunch of cheap, aggressive minions, and then all the higher cost cards are just reach cards. Then when you play him you can guarantee burst damage to finish them off. For example, leaving only Doomguard in zoo.
People have been knocking Hemet, Jungle Hunter as pointless.
I argue it will be in every Mage Giants Time Warp deck. Hemet guarantees you draw giants/Alex/Antonidas when you need it.
He also seems great in combination with Elise to help continue to give the deck fuel if you are close to completing the quest, but not quite there. Maybe they're dating.

I would agree this card is going to be a lot better than people realize, I think it's honestly the new Zombie Chow and stuff like Control Priest (if that's even a thing) is going to love it. I'm pretty stoked to play with it in slower lists.
Personally I think the Lyra the Sunshard is a lot better than people are giving it credit for, and something that's been kind of ignored is that Priest got a bunch of Elementals. Like the focus has been on if Lyra is good/bad and if Deathrattles are going to be feasible, but the fact they have 2 good early game Elementals and 1 questionable Elemental that's hard to really theorycraft makes me think there's at least a reasonable list there. Lightspawn is also an Elemental, come to think of it.
I think most of the card evaluations have been okay, though most of the cards that people consider "bad" aren't really all that terrible. Pyros is better than people think, Taunt Warrior actually looks really promising, and I haven't seen anyone talking about Feeding Time which seems like a balanced version of Imp-losion (granted, that might mean it's not good enough to see play). Overall I'm pretty excited for the new set, it seems like everyone at least has promising cards to work with.
Me personally I'm just excited for Hunter/Warlock/Paladin and will probably be playing a bunch of those for their Quests.

I thought of this as well, though it seems like it could be severely punished by Taunt.
People never really mention Emerald Hive Queen but it can destroy pirate warrior by messing up their precious early game curve. If you are a more late game oriented class this most likely does not affect you, and after its death you can probably start safely playing some taunts.
How exactly? It's only your minions that cost 2 more.
Oh, i thought it was all minions. Well it looks like that card is just terrible 100%
Well not really if your deck is full of spells it's a good minion, will try if I get it.. it's good if you wanna play diomancy next turn.

Aggro decks don't play 8 mana cards, especially ones that are conditional.
Most Quests; Mainly because losing a card and tempo in the early game is a big deal, seems to be too overlooked by most people.
For the Mage Quest, the OTK people are talking about is too complex to pull off/too slow.
Hunter Quest will be decent, but not has gamebreaker OP has lifecoach suggest. The deck has weakness; offer no comeback mechanism/no hard removal and its an aggressive deck that will always start behind on tempo (have to play T1 quest)
Druid Quest is bad. This type of deck will be greatly unfavored vs agro, vs control its not as great as people think, it has no great big board clear, no hard removal, will have clunky opening hands often and sometimes never be able to get the tempo back.
Rogue Quest and Warlock quest won't be viable. No quest will be metadefining.
Dinomancy will be too slow for what Hunter decks are trying to accomplish.
Envenom Weapon force you to take too much damage as Rogue, won't be viable.
Otherwise, many high cost card like the Hunter legendary because they are too slow.
Underdogs:
Bittertide Hydra will be oppressive reminiscent of Fel Reaver. Might be wong on this one though, depends if there is a lot of Zooish decks on ladder.
I predict that the sleeper card of this set (that people only right off has an arena card) will be Vicious Fledgling. This card must be remove immediately otherwise it will snowball out of control (moreover if you can pick windfury) . Might see play in Beast Druid and Hunter.
The 2 new neutral murloc are very strong.
Tears are gonna flow over that mage quest mark my words. As far as freeze mage goes, it's not like they did anything on turn 1 as it is.
Going back to the Spiritsinger Umbra discussion, there could be some interesting synergy there with Devilsaur Egg. Not sure how practical it is on turn 7, but that combo gets a 3/4 and a 5/5 on the board immediately with the threat of another 5/5. And for an extra awesome and rare play, if they don't pop it try a turn 8 Princess Huhuran + Terrorscale Stalker! For 15 mana, that's a 3/4, 6/5, and three 5/5s (plus another when the egg actually dies).
You're rarely going to have that hand, but it'd be preeeetty sweet.

Aside from that last part, I think there's a lot of potential there. It's a little disappointing that nobody has even talked about the new fun cards we have this expansion.

I don't see as much hype around Gentle Megasaur as I would have expected. I don't know if people are underrating it necessarily, but the card is nuts and receiving very little talk compared to quests.
I think the biggest underdog (has been hyped, but a lot of people are still saying it will be trash) is the rogue quest. Violet teacher will make a huge comeback, it used to be considered good just because of the 1/1s, now it will have late game 5/5s when your deck is running out of steam.

u thinking realy wrong bruh

Who's the Beatdown?
I thought of this as well, though it seems like it could be severely punished by Taunt.
Overhyped: Spiritsinger Umbra, no good deathrattle effects to combo with, impossible to survive turn 4
Underhyped: Bittertide Hydra insane in Hunter and aggro decks, may even destroy the meta

Overhyped, probably the priest quest. If it becomes a meta deck, you can expect to see Alextraza as tech in a lot of decks.
Underdog: Molten Reflection, Mirage Caller, Bloodbloom, Primordial Glyph, I want to say Primalfin Champion because it's my favourite card from the set, Stubborn Gastropod honestly in a late game control vs control matchup where all of the players' removal has been exhausted looks so troll, Molten Blade for the Doomhammer + 2X Heroic Strike combo that will happen 100% of the time [Kappa], Stampede for infinte angry chicken army
