I don't think this will work with Blade Flurry, because the text reads "deal its damage" instead of "it deals damage" ... which implies that it is the spell which is dealing the damage instead of the weapon. Nonetheless, I really like the poison effect on a rogue weapon.

I think it does work, but it's still not good enough for rogue to play it i m o. Blade Flurry that is, not Envenom Weapon. I think this will see play, even with the lack of health gain.
100% this will NOT work with Blade Flurry. As general rule, if the damage can be enhanced by spell damage, it is not coming from the minion/weapon itself, and this does not invoke poisonous.
If this works with Blade Flurry like adapt > poisonous does with Wild Pyromancer then this might just give rogue a good board wipe which is what burgle rogue needs.
It's a 7 mana board clear (9 if you don't already have a weapon). Rogues might play it since they have no better options, but it's definitely not a good board wipe.
Depends on if it works with blade flurry. Great against priest. Taking out 1 minion and then blade flurry later is insane value against a class like shaman or against zoo. I like it.
Why doesn't this card just read 'Envenom' instead of 'Envenom Weapon' that just sounds terrible rofl
Because that card already existed in the Alpha stage, where it created a ridiculous OTK combo, and it was replaced by Blade Flurry, which also got its own problem later.
Seriously, let's start a campaign to get Blizzard to rename this just 'Envenom'. So much cooler.

So do you think Flamestrike is a bad board wipe?
Flamestrike does not require 2 cards plus an existing weapon.
This, in itself, is a great card for rogue. The problem is that rogue doesn't really have the health gain to make the best use out of it. Hard to evaluate, but I can imagine it being played as a one-of perhaps.
It's more or less aShadow Strike with 2 uses, but you pay say 7-8 health for it on average. Is that acceptable? For the most part I would probably say yes.
+1. At first I thought it was absurdly strong, then I realized Rogues don't have access to the healing required to kill larger minions in this way.
Still, like hebbe said, could be interesting as a x1. Guess we'll see!
what the fck is this op sht, and how has not 100% of people voted this as meta-defining?!
Go ahead and face tank a couple of huge minions with Envenom Weapon, and see what minions you want to remove if you happen to draw a second copy. It will be great when violet illusionist is up, but I think it's a bit far fetched to call this meta defining.
So 1. This obviously does NOT work with bladefury. Bladefury deals the damage not the weapon. While Pyromancer deals the damage on the comparison.
2. This is basically a tool to get rid out of taunts, which was always a problem for miracle by the shear amount of taunt in this set this is needed. Its a verry good tempo card while its not meant to be played in a controlish deck. there is no heal in this set, so just forget anything else besides maybe quest or fast miracle/aggro rogue versions.
this might be run over sap imo since you can clear 2 taunts complete.
so that just means Deadly Poison isn't actually that deadly at all
I tried having fun once. It was awful.

You made me giggle with that - have an upvote!
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Only for Wild Reno Rogue.
Straight up garbage. Dusterino
HE TRAAAAAADES!
Now I understand why they printed Gluttonous Ooze (other than for pirates)

This is a really good card. With the fall of Pirates people should also stop autoincluding Oozes in their deck, making this a safe double removal.
If this works with Blade Flurry, then i'm still gonna be mad cause it took them a whole freaking year to finally justify nerfing it...

weapon + this + Blade Flurry = kill all enemies? would it be like an AoE poison or just do the base damage?
Could see this used in arena. Where lack of big minion removal is still lacking. Not sure this is enough to add it to constructed.
Good enough to bring blade flurry back?
