This a good single target card and an pretty good board clear, but that's not why I like it. You get to deal FIFTEEN damage! Who even cares if the target has 1 HP, set that little shit to -14!
Wtf? Why do people think this card is "very good?" Look at Flame Lance...
This is flame lance for 14 health minions that can clean up little minions on the side. It's also slightly valued at flamestrike since it guarantee clears a minion. PS, you're going to want this card when you see 30 health elementals

Maybe might see play in highlander decks, but In "normal" decks i think mage would rather run some other board-centric spells i.e. blizzard, flamestrike, or some burn spells i.e. firelands, fireball.
I think this is amazing in Control Mage. I used to run one copy of Forbidden Flame in my Control list, but why bother when this has essentially the same effect + a mini Flamestrike?
The only issue I see with Control Mage right now is that it has no win condition.
This fixes mages biggest problems, huge minions! It kills very large minions and clears the board in many cases, it makes opponents need to be careful about positioning. Its better than a destroy card because its bound to kill the threat 9x/10 and has that added clear potential for 6! Everyone has something very strong and I think this is mages.
Do people not realize how ridiculously overpowered this card is? It's a slightly less powerful Foe Reaper 4000 but uncounterable. This card alone could potentially win a game.
Spells are, by definition in Hearthstone, counterable. Foe Reaper is not.
The Noggenfogger into Meteor face dream!
Nope.
This deals about double Flame Lance and has 3 damage splash... for 1 more mana.
Priest isn't that bad guys.

I can't believe I gave the black materia to Sephiroth.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Oooooooh the feels my dear Ultrasaur - you thought you were the strongest of them all - well, Meteor gets you!

15 damage lol, Blizzard wasn't fucking around when they printed this one.
The real question is why 15? Why not 100?
S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman

Love this. I may actually craft it.

Should really be a 100 damage spell, Why?
A METEOR is hitting you.. it should kill ANYTHING can't kill a 16/16 jade golem :(
