From MSoG we have Kun the Forgotten King and Aya Blackpaw if you're playing Jade Druid although it's kinda slow to reach 5 attack Druids. Defias Cleaner might see play with people trying out N'zoth Priest with the Deathrattle Quest.
Depends what you mean with "adapt it". If you summon a 2 attack minion and it is on board and then you use a spell to adapt it, it doesn't count. If the minion's attack gets increased while summoned, then it will count. Addled Grizzly Can also help. But generally, adapting minions on board will not count as summoning them.
This is the easiest quest to complete - you get to summon these 5+ attack creatures anyway if you play Druid. And the reward is huge!
I wonder, whether +3 Attack Adapt applied to a 2-attack creature triggers the quest?
Wrong. Unless you are talking about Jade ( And this quest is not good with jade). Druid does not run many 5+ attack creatures, exactly because most of them suck.
Druid will always get the best proactive cards. If the opponent does nothing, they can seem overwhelming.
This is not as broken as it seems, though. Jade minions are already cheap enough that dumping them is not a problem. It also doesn't work with Jade Spells. You're starting with one less card in your hand, unless you mulligan it to combo it with Auctioneer much later into the game. The quest reward doesn't reduce minions in your hand, so there's no way to make a combo work consistently.
Azure Drake is also gone, which makes it that much harder for Druid to swing back the board with their spells. In Gadgetzan meta you needed a Spellpower Swipe to come back pretty much. That is no longer possible, because the only good Spellpower Minion left is Thalnos.
Also remember that Druid lost Mulch and Living Roots and got nothing to replace it. If you're getting tired of losing to Druid, you can always just tech in the Bee for 3 mana, which acts as a hard removal and huge tempo gain because Druid cannot deal 2 damage to a stealthed minion.

Unlikely. You summoned a 2 attack minion and buff it. That is not summoning a 5 attack minion.
With HS, you never know. I have been wondering about Druid of the Flame, and if you transform it to a 5/2, does that count for quest? It counts as playing a beast from hand,I think it will. And maybe adapt timing is such it applies before quest checks for 5+...
Yes, Druid of the flame will count. And adapt also, if the minion gets it as a battlecry or somehow else during summoning. Just not when the minion is already on the board and then adapted. And that's how I understood your question at first...
imagine that card in jade druid, you just play jades spirits etc and your quest will be done without any special cards in deck. Then you play 5 mana 8/8 and he makes your gadgzetan auctionner 0 mana- so you play him for free and you can summon 6 jaddes in 1 turn at the late game state of the game
It's awesome, crazy powerful but all the quests are and at least tried to be semi balanced by only reducing the cards in your deck.
That being said, Nourish and Lunar Visions are both must play in this deck, possibly becoming 0 mana themselves or just drawing 2-3 0 mana high value minions. Hell this deck even makes running Reckless Rocketeers semi-viable for the potential burst.

Jade Druid will be too slow in this archetype. They'd have to alter the deck to add in more 5 attack minions. But I don't see it as nearly as optimal when you can simply complete the quest and have tons of cycle to finish off your opponent without setting up Jades for a turn.
I don't think this is good enough. As a druid main I've gotten ramp druid to rank 3 several times. In hat deck I only had 6 minions of 5 or more attack. And that's the wild version with boom, sylvanas and rag will be joining that to. It's just so slow, and when you do hit it. It doesn't affect your hand. You have to draw, and even if you do it might be too late. I really want this to work, but I don't think it will be viable.

It's obviously going to be meta dependent. If everyone plays 1-drop hunter, token rogue and discard zoolock you'll be having a tough time. But if decks like taunt warrior manage to keep those in check, I think Stomper druids will be able to put enough big stuff on the board to bash through walls of taunts to the point where only perfect ragnaros hero power RNG will save them.
I also predict druid quest decks will have favorable matchups against elemental decks and deathrattle priests. Broken mage combo decks will probably crush it though.
I really hope your right and that it does slow down. Control V control would be a strong match-up for the quest deck. And who knows maybe that one mana armor gain card will be enough to keep druid alive against faster decks. It should be a minimum of 6 armor gain. Which should help sustainability
op in jade dru
Umm.... can't you just play C'Thun + Brewmasters for insta death for your opponent? Wtf.
So what are some good 5 attack or more minions that Druid plays?
From the Classic set we have only Ancient of War. Ragnaros the Firelord and Sylvanas Windrunner are out of Standard and I've never seen a Druid play Harrison Jones.
From the WOTOG set we have Bog Creeper and if you're playing a weird C'Thun deck you can throw those in there too.
From Karazhan we have the big one Menagerie Warden. Quest into Tyrantus into Menagerie Warden? Throw in Prince Malchezaar for funsies.
From MSoG we have Kun the Forgotten King and Aya Blackpaw if you're playing Jade Druid although it's kinda slow to reach 5 attack Druids. Defias Cleaner might see play with people trying out N'zoth Priest with the Deathrattle Quest.
And now with Un'Goro we have new minions. Charged Devilsaur, Giant Anaconda, Volcanosaur, Elise the Trailblazer, Verdant Longneck and Elder Longneck

Blizzard had no love for Skrox, I really thought Skrox was going to be a legendary card.
If u summon 2 attack minion and adapt it to gain +3 attack, it does count as summoning a 5 attack minion.
This druid quest will be easier to complete with the adapt mechanic.

Moonglade portal summon something with 5+ atack counts? How about menagerie duplicating something with 5+ atack clunt too?
