this won't work with Jades, the whole point of jades is thinning your deck to a point where you consistently can draw Jade idols with draw effects, for that you need high density in jade cards and in card draw effects if do add that to your deck plus the quest, it doesn't matter if you complete the quest and summon barnabus because you'd effectively be reducing the costs of a great total of 0 minions in your deck.
TLDLR: Jade decks have no space to fit this card because they don't rely on playing many minions and yous till want the minions to get the cost reduction to your deck, and Jade idol is a spell, not a minion so it won't get reduced to 0
There is definitely a deck to play with this card. Probably a ramp mally build but I don't see it being very consistent. You need to play cheep five attack minions but then the reward benefits larger expensive cards. Card draw will still be an issue and having the wrong card in hand before it goes off can totally ruin the outcome. Time will tell if someone can optimize a list that works well but I don't see this winning over some of the other builds.

And no, this is not a quest for Jade. All of the Jade minions except Aya have lower than 5 attack. If your Jade golems are themselves already greater than 5 attack, you don't want "free" minions, you want more cards, so you can spam 1 cost jade idols and such.
This quest is for full out ramp druid.
Losing Azure Drake actually hurts a lot here, it would have been perfect to draw for 0 cost and cycle through.
I missed the part about "in your deck" at first. Well, then this isn't anywhere near as good as it would've been otherwise.
The effect is really really strong, but my prediction is actually that this will fall flat on its ass. Because it only reduces cost of minions in your deck, and not your hand, you simply can't really build combos around it. It might work in a pure ramp deck, but the problem is that ramp decks really aren't that good.
The only real way I see this being in a tier 2+ deck is if you don't go all in with the 0 mana minon thing at all, but just use it as tempo gain late game in a semi-normal deck. As a 6+ 8 mana minion deck, or a combo deck, this is not going to work.

See, in my opinion this is exactly why this card is amazing and possibly (likely) broken. You play the quest, go through thinning your deck as normal and quickly getting this quest done by turn 5-6. You then get to play a free Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Fandral and cycle through your Jade Idols way faster and more efficiently than before, and when you draw minions they don't clog up your hand or anything anymore. Sure, it will require a bit more building around to make this sort of thing consistent, but I think it's enough to be busted.
That combo is crazy. This quest can enable a lot of amazing combos. The only problem I see is that it doesn't reduce the cost of your hand, so if you drew C'thun before completing the quest you're screwed.
Should've been on Played instead of Summon. I'm scared of this card with Jade.

if you do it with jades, then you don't need the quest...it gives you even less card advantage in early game which is jade's weakness.
the trick to this card is summoning early game minions with 5+ attack but maybe shitty health
