I hit the daily maximum of gold on the first day of Un'Goro (so 30 wins, roughly 50 games), and this is the only quest I never saw played. The few druids I did see just played beasts and tokens. Crafting this may be questionable, I'd hold off if you're considering it.
I warned u guys, this is the WEAKEST of the 9 quests by far. It's just a noob trap. Everything druid got this expansion is horrible ( as always , huh ?) , Class will remain t3 at best like in MSOG. Devs don't really understand the druid class.
Tried out the Druid deck in this weeks Brawl, where as the deck is a lot of fun and free minions are great, by the time you drop him the game is usually over because you are either dead or you have killed your opponent with the beefy minions you have been dropping to activate the quest. Even after you get Barnabus the Stomper he feels kind of clunky seeing as you lose a bit of tempo from playing him unless you drop him turn 10 with Nourish then get really lucky to actually get some relevant minions.

When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!
The Brawl was a great showcase for a vibrant quest meta where quest druid was playable.
It's a shame they screwed the meta with cheap highly synergistic aggro cards. Basically they could make Barnabus's text- "win the game" and you still wouldn't be able to play him.
I was trying to play around on ladder with him at rank 9. Absolutely murdered by aggro decks. I innervated a tar elemental out on turn 1 against a "midrange hunter", I was still dead by turn 5. 5 attack minions are just way too slow and/or don't have taunt. What early game to we have? A 2/2 and we have Elder Longneck...
The only viable druid archetypes seems to be aggro, and that is just snowball in 3 turns or lose automatically.

We need a 2 drop that is like zombie chow or mistress, good stats but with some downside. The tortollan is bad, golakka seems better against aggro because it's a 2-3 at least.
the quest is relatively easy to compelte tbh, there are enoough cheapish 5 attack minions the only problem is that neither the requeriment nor the reward helps you extend your gameplan to be able to use the 0 mana minions making finding space for playing Barnabus really hard or get you killed, if Barnabus had taunt it would be another story.

Yeah, the priest quest is stronger because Amara has taunt(well and has a gigantic heal). I don't see why barnabus does not. If the quest is supposed to be geared to late game, either the reward, or like warrior, the quest should be something related to survivablity.
I have been keeping this card for months. Does anybody think I would need its dust for the next expansion? Should I dust it?
Assuming you will need the dust in the next expansion, why would you want to dust it now? And although I seriously doubt it, maybe it will get viable with the next expansion (you never know what kind of cards they publish).
Considering Blizzard claimed they'd indirectly buff the weaker quests by adding more cards that synergize with them, holding onto any quest you have is a good idea.
Seeing the 51% meta defining in the poll is so funny XD but oh well the quest looked way stronger before cause we thought people would just play jades then barnabos but turns out jade decks don't use that many minions.. and the quest is way too slow.
We'll see what the meta brings to the table, there's a lot of aggro killers and some really sweet 5 attack minions (bonemare, fatespinner). if nothing, it will become a bit more viable. I'm guessing all the quests are going to get at least some support.
Fatespinner is pretty much the most perfect card imaginable for Jungle Giants deck but it needs more pieces than that to be reasonable choice for ladder.

The Quest has been a lot of fun in the games I have played so far. The tempo is how the Druid can keep up with the other decks I think.
Here's my deck with card choice explanations:

Why does Vicious Fledgling exist

OK then. Let's keep it for another month.

Haha, we were always good at rating cards :)
