So... If you play Sherazin, Corpse Flower with Spiritsinger Umbra on the board, you get a copy of the seed when you play it. If you manage to re-summon Sherazin with Spiritsinger Umbra, it'll just fill your board with Sherazin seeds? Combo potential in Standard? You can also combine Umbra with value Deathrattles and bounce cards that will most likely be ran in Quest Rogue, we might have something very interesting here.
Or depending on how the mechanic is coded, it might just put Sherazin into it's seed mode without making a copy. I guess we'll need to test to find out.
a lot of you are going to be disappointed. Let me try to save some people 1400 dust.
Compare to Brann Bronzebeard: at 1 more mana this is much more difficult to combo consistently, and it's also a higher base investment for potentially no gain. You're also overpaying more for this card than for Brann in stats (it's also much easier to kill a 4 health minion on turn 4 then it is on turn 3, so whereas Brann could sometimes be played on curve by himself, this almost has to be combo'd the turn you play it). And it's not like Brann was that overpowered, either.
Even if Sylvanas were still in the game this card would not see play. Remember how everyone thought Sylvanas + Feign Death and Sylvanas + Reincarnate would be insane? How'd that work out? And those were 8 mana combos vs this being a 10 mana combo.
if it triggered the deathrattle of minions already in play as well as future minions, then yes it would be nuts, but it doesn't, so dust it.
i don't get how this is getting overhyped so hard. It's like bran, opponent will kill it in 10000% situations and to get any value from it you should play something on the same turn, which is even harder than with bran cuz it cost 1 more mana..
Kripp's analysis was spot on - the card is comparable to Fandral and Brann. At four mana, it's cheap enough to easily combo, and its stat-line is fine, given the immediate value that will effectively buff it. Baron Rivendare never saw play because of bad stats, and it couldn't be played until its controlling player could sacrifice a deathrattle minion already in play - if the opponent kept clearing on their turn, you simply couldn't get value from playing Baron. Princess Hoohoo was too expensive, and suffered the same problem - if the opponent was clearing, she was simply a vanilla 5-drop.
Im with those who think the card is actually being quite overrated.
Yea, it's a sort of replacement for Brann. However, you cant drop this card by itself, otherwise it will be removed immediately just like Brann was, and Brann even could come out at turn 3, so even so early in the game the opponent will usually be able to remove it.
Otherwise, you have to combo this card with a deathrattle minion to get some value, which is fine, but worthy deathrattle minions are harder to find than worthy battlecry minions bc battlecry is usually more powerful and much more common.
Yea we all are now dreaming with the Cairne+Umbra combo, but realistically this stuff doesnt happen often, and anyway it's a turn 10 combo, when the big threats come into play one after another. And, if you manage to keep Umbra more than one turn, you were gonna win already, so it's like a win more card.

+1
I'm sure this card is even close to garbage tier. It's nothing like fandral, because there is no deathrattles with such crazy benefits as double option for choose one cards. And it's easier to play fandral because druid has ramp.
Dropping cairne with this on 10 is nothing. Garbage
Any word on how this interacts with Sherazin, Corpse Flower? Because if Sherazin's "Go dormant" text actually means, "Summon a dormant Sherazin", this combo is next-level insane. Conversely, if it just makes Sherazin dormant, then you now have a legendary card which does literally nothing.
I'm not getting all that hype about this card. It's design is dusty and dull. It is really playable on Nzoth priest and paladin only (not considering other uncompetitive fun decks, like moat lurkers or dreadsteed). Maybe it will be seen in Jade shaman to play with Aya and sometimes with Bloodmage Thalnos for additional card draw, but I doubt.
So I voted just "playable". Even Hemet will give more archetypes then this.

The cards you cited didn't work because they were spells - deathrattle decks are minion-based, and it is simply better to get another deathrattle on the board than spend a card to trigger deathrattles already in play. Umbra is a 2-mana Feign Death on a 3-mana Spider Tank body - her 3/4 stats are fine, given that she will spawn another minion, or draw a card, or discover a card whenever she is played. In Wild, her effect will be more powerful - putting a Secret in play, cracking an Egg, popping a Shredder, or a Belcher. She is drawn on-curve about one-quarter of the time, so she won't be any clunkier than Fandral. Given that she's neutral, she'll see far more play than Fandral - very good card.

Also the synergy with N'zoth is pretty sickening.
White Eyes come out and play!
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
Sergeant Sally double board clear.
That Moat Lurker synergy though...at least, I think so. Anyone confirm this is how this works?
1. Moat Lurker your own minion, DR triggers and does stuff
2. Moat Lurker DR triggers, resummons your minion
3. Resummoned minion's DR triggers, does stuff
4. Still have original minion, plus get another copy when Moat Lurker dies
