So when The Grand Tournament cycles out, does anyone think that we are gonna see more Inspire mechanics?
I honestly really liked the Inspire mechanic, but maybe I'm an outlier? I know that it isn't placed in decks a lot of the time because it is too slow but cards like Tournament Medic I feel have seen a lot of play as well as Thunder Bluff Valiant...
I'm going to also make a poll in this thread to see if anyone likes the mechanic and thinks we should have it in later expansions.
Inspire was a cool mechanic but the only card seeing play was basically thunderbluff valiant.
A lot of those cards were verry plane and versions of vanilla minions with +1 mana and an inspire effekt which was simplay to slow to see play to a fast meta.
I wouldnt mind 1-3 inspire cards in this set maybe we will see some new in the future.
I'd say the problems with inspire are numerous but with them all starting on the fact that the cards are costed on you proccing the inspire multiple times with the minion Alive. Since the beginning of HS, minions just don't live for very long. Particularly ones with consistent effects (see emperor thaurisan)
more specifically: they were almost always over costed for their effects.
The only way to get value out of them was to play them at same time you could hero power. So they basically costed+2
Even the concept of them was pretty bad since by design hero power is severely overcosted for its mana. (For obvious reasons)
I got golden priest hero primarily from Shadowform Priest. So yes, i wish there will be more inspire in the future, especially with Raza being introduced.

Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
What I will say is that I also crafted Raza the Chained hoping for more Inspire mechanics... Idk, I just think hero power based decks are fun, even if they aren't great on the ladder. It's really fun to put down a bunch of inspire minions, use your hero power, and watch shit go.

The only card with this mechanic I really miss is Nexus-Champion Saraad, play a lot in good days of CW.

Q: Where are all my inspire cards?
A: Where the Wild card goes ..!
I'm actually more than okay with letting Thunder Bluff Valiant go *Winks*

Inspire is a fine mechanic. Not sure why they don't bring it back. The only mechanic that I absolutely hated was Jousting. Terrible RNG mechanic.
