This is so far the best buff card ever came out in any of the classes in the history of Hearthstone in terms of value. Compare this to Power Word: Tentacle: for just one more mana, it gains a taunt and a deathrattle that summons a 2/6 taunt, Holy shit. This will most certainly be used in Buffadin or even just become a staple in most paladin due to its sheer value. The problem with buff card is the fact that it doesn't do anything immediately if you don't control a card, but the fact that this card has a taunt just makes it good. Putting it on a silver hand recruits is good enough: 8 mana 3/7 taunt with deathrattle that summons a 2/6 taunt? That's actually pretty good card. The problem I have with this card is its cost. Paladins don't have enough good buffs that can help them build a viable Buffadin deck. We'll have to see rest of the buff cards.
I'm really worried that Blizz is printing so many of these cards. It's like they're pushing silence tech.
With so many big buff cards and Adapt everywhere, theres a higher chance we'll be seeing more Spellbreaker and Mass Dispel. Then you'll be really sorry you spent 6 mana playing this
Seems good with the gadgetzan 1-drop pallys got:7-mana 3/8 with taunt and draw a card deathrattle as well as summon a 2/6 with taunt deathrattle. Will be trying it in a dinosize deck with pally quest and stonetusk boar for flavor. Prob won't be a great deck but will be fun to try.

Then everyone will carry the right tools in their decks, you know, they say that : '' Silence is Gold '' ^^
Great value. 4/12 stats and two taunts. It just suffers from the usual condition, needs a body to buff.
I like it but it's quite probably too slow.
Pretty much this........and the silence thing.....in a control v control game you rarely want to leave your opponent any board when you end turn so minimum this is a 7 drop (6 with a 0-cost card.....lawl) and if you are facing aggro or a face deck.......well......you might be dead by the time you play this....or at the very least very far behind. This would be better if it was lower costed with a smaller buff/smaller deathrattle minion....maybe half every value and it would be pretty good......3-cost, +1/+3 buff, and a 1/3 deathrattle minion.

What a fantastic card! This card is essentially a 4/12 split in two via deathrattle--and that's assuming the minion it's buffing is a 0/0, which we know is impossible since the minion will have basic stats. Deathrattle minions--especially with taunt--are consistently undervalued by the community and this card will do the same. Unless you have a silence waiting in your hand for this, this'll punish basically every deck in the meta that needs to apply consistent pressure (midrange and aggro alike).
Agreed it's like a better sludge belcher for one more mana. Six mana for 4/12 stats and taunts sounds very good to me.
I think this is a decent card. With Tirion dropping late game, please go ahead and use your silence on this card. :D
12 health across two bodies and you can run a second one of these, that's a lot to get through. I think many are forgetting the impact Sludge Belcher had. This is a turn later, but the second body is far bigger.
I think this sees play, especially for anyone running the Quest.
The only big unanswered problem is that even if Paladin gets tools to outlast aggro, the broken Jade deck will eat them alive.

Silence is a powerful ability, but the card doesn't have much flexibility. How good is silence against aggro decks? How good is silence against Jade Golems? How good is it against the newly introduced Queen Carnassa? It's specifically good against deathrattle cards and buffed up cards but that's about it. You're not going to play silence unless you see Buffadins dominating everywhere.

This card is horrible. If it was a 2/6 minion with Taunt that spawned another 2/6 minion with Taunt when it dies, then it would be passable. But any silence on this buffed minion will not only take away the deathrattle, but the buff too. Put this spell on a SHR, it gets silenced, it's back to 1/1. At least Sludge Belcher and Piloted Shredder kept their bodies - plus N'Zoth brings them back.
It's like Blizzard said: "How can we give Paladin a good deathrattle card without it actually being a deathrattle card?"
Silence minions have been played far less since they nerfed Ironbeak Owl, but Spellbreaker will be an auto-include now with all the stuff coming out of this expansion. That's another reason why Jade > Kabal > Goons, you can silence all the buffs on the Goons, but can't silence an 8/8 Jade Golem that was summoned with a 1-mana spell.
EDIT: I just went back and read a few comments and people are making some other great points. You're right - you can play Belcher on an empty board, but this requires a board. So either something sticks from previous turns (and likely was already buffed in order to survive), or you have to play a guy + this card on T8.
Even if you have something to buff on T6, this is a huge tempo killer. Putting 2 extra attack on the board on T6? That's all? Are they insane? Paladin has great value cards but no good tempo cards since Minibot. This is the worst example of that yet.

Just because a card is countered by another card (that doesn't even see much play) does not make it horrible.
Edit: The reason the grimy goons was bad is because the mechanic sucks compared to the Kabal and Jade lotus. Not because silence is a thing.
How I see this card is that if your opponent have enough removal to get through this and Tirion then you probably lose no matter what. But if they don't have removal you probably win. It is kinda like a Ancient of War in that regard but more feast or famine.
Now is 2017 and people still talk about silence FailFish
Maybe not autoinclude in every paladin deck but i dont see how this is bad card
6 mana for 4/12 taunt (require sticky minion) is really big, only thing can stop it is sap and transform (polymorh, hex, devolve) but not every class have transform spell ,use this to bait removal and play tirion after isnt too bad
Nzoth Paladin + buffquest hybird maybe a thing. Have two win condition in Nzoth and the adapt dinoaur. This card is both for the quest and good stall card. Weak against silence but then your tirion may not.

why does the token have a neutral background and not a paladin one?
This is a 8-mana Belcher without N'Zoth synergy. Good card, will see play. Not as good as Belcher, even the token being way more sticky.

it's not a token that is summoned it's a a neutral minion(4 mana).
6 mana spell: Play this on a minion, then proceed to get wrecked by silence
Seems ok.
