If you don't have minions and opponent have 3 or more minions this can worth the risk, summon a 5/4, kill a opponent minion and summon a random 5 cost minion can save you from a lost game.
you also run the risk of the firelands portal hitting your own 5/4... essentially you paid 8 mana to summon a 5 cost minion.
Yes, in this case 2 chances in 6 for a bad result, if the other options not good worth the risk.
Garbage in ranked mode, avarage on arena, i can compare it with Corrupted Seer and its pretty good card on arena, if manage to get a non targetable spell, like blizzard or flamestrike it could win you a game, or a value spell like cabalist tome, arcane intellect.
Too much RNG but it's a elegant design. Stupid, simple, but unusable. If you want to have a fun time, keep it or craft it, if you have enough dust to spare. If you don't, dust it.

It's not that hard: control wins aggro and loses to midrange. Combo should never be included in this equation.

I think I like this card? At least it gives you slightly more control than Servant of Yogg-Saron. And it is less of a Hail Mary than Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. I will at least try it out for a bit.
I would try to reduce the cost of it first. Because its default cost seems a bit high.
Ha, you people will be begging for a nerf. One streamer puts this in his deck and everyone will copy it. Then your opponent will use it 10 time against you with bad result, but once it will win them the game. Then players will promptly march to the forum demanding a nerf because it *always* helps opponent and RNG is ruining the game of randomly drawn cards.
Think about this, best case you hit a board clear, you paid EIGHT MANA to sometimes get a decent spell and a mid body. That's the best case. Now go and look at not only how many bad spells there are but how much worse they get with the randomness. The real question is when are you getting a favorable outcome is ever better that just playing that spell in your deck in the first place?

Not as bad as it looks. Choosing the spell takes away a lot of the RNGesus, and can make it more often than not pretty powerful

Blizzard needs to stop making these kind of garbage RNG trash cards. They don't make the game better.
