Anyone thinking this is a turn 9 play with living mana, redo your math. at turn 9 you play living mana 7 mana goes to your minions leaving 2 mana left over you'd have to play innervate to pull that off.
This could get pretty insane if you have a big board of jades...
Will definitely see some use I think.
On a board of Jades, isn't it just kind of a win more card? In Jade Druid, you kind of don't care if your Golems die (unless the board state demands it, of course) since you have infinite Golems anyways.

It's weird that so many people's initial reaction is to assume +1/+1 is the default choice for Adapt and then base all their analysis on that (not just for this card, but for others as well). I've even seen streamers do it. Adapt is not about raw power or stats. It's about versatility.
I predict that certain people -- those who are not tolerant of what Hearthstone is at its core -- are going to find themselves constantly triggered by Adapt effects. They are going to claim the opponent's "high rolls" and "RNG" are creating "cheap wins" that are undeserved, when in reality it's just someone with the balls to play a deck that has a slight amount of variance who knows how to bend that variance toward optimal outcomes.
This card, in particular, might even approach Yogg levels of hate once people see what it can do.
Indeed. I only see this card fit in a token druid. 4 mana is way too high and less reliable than SR for a finisher. Soul of the forest seems even better in this kind of deck.
In midrange, I don't see myself play this over a good 4-drop minion.
But, we didn't see all the cards yet.
I think the problem is that all get the same effect, and you need to hit ~4 minions to break even on value.
VERY expensive indeed. I compare this to evolve, since +1/+1, +3 attack, +3 health, and taunt are all things that cost roughly 1 mana (thus, evolve has the exact same effect). If the card was at least 2 mana it would see play but not that much, just like evolve. However, you might argue that evolve had a significant RNG aspect, giving you a Doomsayer or even aFlamewreathed Faceless, and even though this card's effect is more reliable its RNG makes it bad, which further emphasizes how little mana you would want to use on this. Not a bad card, only Purify level over costed.
There's not much RNG involved, there's a 30% chance to get any specific adaptation, not to mention many Adaptations are universally strong, like Divine Shield or Token Deathrattle. There's a 30% chance this becomes a 4 mana permanent Bloodlust. Insane.
Not to mention, I don't ever want to face a Token Druid with a bunch of Poisonous 1/1's. That will give me nightmares.
... 30% ? Isn't there 10 possibilities in the Adapt pool options? Do the math ^^
Exactly. Do the math. Like Discover, you get 3 options to choose from out of a pool of 10. That means there is a 3/10 chance that at least one of the options is the one you want. 30%.
Unless, of course, I am missing something here. Could always be the case.
After a good night of sleep, I think I'm now understanding from where my initial comment was comming from -- as in, I understand what I wasn't understanding when you replied -- You get 30% chances to get a specific adaptation, out of all the possibilities. But since it is combine with a discover mecanic, doesn't that shrinks the odds for a precise one : getting to chose 1 out of 3 out of 10 ? But I'm now just half awake, so maybe I'm still missing on something :)
you have to choose between three choices. Three choices out of 10 is 3/10 (or 30%).
Whether you choose blindfolded is up to you, but yes then it would be another 1/3*3/10 (or 10%). I personally would always pick the right one out of the 3 choices... ;)
So this is certainly playable, but only in specific decks obviously.
Best for Egg Druid as it can be both a finisher (similar to Savage Roar via +1/+1, +3 attack, or Windfury) and if those options fail it can make your board harder to clear with the +3 health, deathrattle, or Divine Shield. Even the poisonous option could work if a wall of taunts are up. The flexibility makes it good, the variability rakes it back a bit.

I've been in plenty of situations where +3 attack or windfury on my mid-sized jades would've made the difference to get lethal or to retake the board against shaman.
Also, I don't like the auctioneer package because of its crappy early game vs aggro. The jade decks I mostly run don't go infinite.
I run plenty of early game vs aggro, in addition to Auctioneer. It can act as a way to just cycle or as a way to refill your hand, and not necessarily very late game infinite Jades. Sometimes you just have to play your outs and cycle with what you have.

This card seems to be getting underrated imho. As stated previously this deck could potentially see play in egg druid, standard token druid or as a 1-of in jade druid. Sure it could whiff and give you the 3 worst results, but even then you will still be getting a permanent board wide buff.
I knew Druid was going to get a card like this, but I was really hoping it would be a 2 mana "Adapt all your beasts".
I know Beast Druid will probably never be a real thing anyways, but seriously what's the point of a card that has to be so over-costed in order to not be abused that it becomes basically unplayable?
Seems a little cost-heavy for the reward to me. Not a ton, just a little. Of course, getting a strong combo with this card off in Aggro Druid has tons of potential to completely swing the game in your favor depending which thing you get (as Shadcws has explained in his post), and Egg Druid in Wild just got one hell of a buff.
Oh wait...combining this thing will the constant spamming of 1 mana Jade Idols...oh crap Jade Druid just got a serious buff. Not would you have to deal with the raw stats of the Jades, but having them all get Taunt or Divine Shield or Stealth would be insanely hard to deal with. I really hope this doesn't come to fruition!!!
Eww for 4 mana, sadly this card isn't that good. It has synergy with token druid, but most of the options aren't very useful. +3 attack could be a useful finisher, and the 2 1/1 plants might actually be really good. Hopefully druid will get some good removal.

When I die, I want to go peacefully and in my sleep like my Grandpa. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.
One mana too expensive. Additionally, the inability to adapt each minion severely limits its usefulness.
Someone on the dev team obviously said "But Savage Roar is +2 attack for 3, this could give a permanent +3 attack so it has to cost more!" ignoring the fact that only happens 30% of the time. Instead, you're likely to get a far weaker effect at a premium mana price.
A bit overpriced. Provided that occasionally you will have to choose between [+1/1, stealth, taunt/untargetable], when conceal / mark of the lotus cost only 1 mana.

The sad thing is, this card would be good in Paladin (especially with new quest---if it would count), but in Druid its just meh.

Seems overcosted, but perma buffs and flexibility always have an added cost.
