Maybe ok with tools like mukla tyrant of the vile bananas or spare parts in wild. In standard, I'm not sure there's enough good buff spells to make this worth it..
Unless the goal is literally to derp around till you get Galvadon, buff him to high hell, and swing for the otk, but good luck surviving against Pirate warrior or aggro shaman...maybe doomsayers? A control package? Idk
This seems to be the worst quest so far. Doesn't look good for paladins.
Question: Lightfused Stegadon has a battlecry to adapt all your silver hand recruits... Could each individual adapt on each recruit be used to satisfy the quest condition?
Not a forced archetype; We'll need to be creative to build a deck that works in practice. To buff efficiently, we need extra early-game minions/ tokens...
Hmmmm.... wait! Guys, there's this obscure legendary card called Patches the Pirate, have you heard of it!?!?
I think people are underestimating how good Adapting 5 times will be, especially since you're likely going to land "can't be targeted by spells or abilities" on it. You're likely to get something that looks a lot like Soggoth the Slitherer.
The quest is really disappointing though. The only existing spell that is really playable is Blessing of Wisdom, and *maybe* kings. The way I see it, divine shield will be essential to keeping your things alive long enough to cast spells on. So maybe Hand of Protection too. That's still a pretty garbage topdeck though. UGH. COME ON BLIZZ MAKE PALLY GREAT AGAIN.
Equality and Smuggler's Run that makes 4 you only need 3 at most you can use Hammer of Wrath to complete quest as a last resort on a silver hand if you are lucky than you can summon Galvadon in order to win you don't have to push for it.
I'm pretty sure Galvadon is going to be freakishly strong. People are underestimating the power of Adapt 5 times. You could literally get a 14/5 Windfury Stealth minion, but the true strength is adapting it to whatever situation your deck needs and the opponent's deck is least able to deal with.
The reward is so cool but the quest to get it is so bad (currently, they could release support). Buffs are cool and all but historically they've been mediocre and hard to play smoothly. The closest we got to viable was handbuff but that won't trigger the quest. I'm so disappointed. :(
Well, there's still more set to see, so maybe my beloved paladin will get some love.
Unless the other quests are terrible bad this is the worse.
You have to play a losing strategy spend a precious card for the quest and it is not so hard to deal with the reward if you complete the quest, compared with others rewards.
I have some skepticism if quest decks will work but this one is garbage and safe dust.
People don't seem to realize there is a 16.8% chance you don't even get the option of picking stealth. That's pretty significant to miss on something you are basing your deck around. The numbers become worse for windfury, stealth and attack buffs, yet people are treating it as you get to pick from the list of 10 instead of discovering 3 of the 10 options five times.
This was literally just revealed, there is clearly ambiguity in the card text, and people are already making assumptions and calling dead card..... The card only says "cast 6 spells on your minions". Lets be honest, that's not too hard to do... especially if hand buffing is considered. My question is to you all, what does the Paladin class actually mean to you? From the beginning it has been the token and buff class, and whenever Blizzard supports that, yall push back and say dead card. Why don't you try it? This class has a ton of buff spells.... feel free to use them :p

Wants to play Captain Cookie Druid because why not?

It's not. There are already many existing cards that talk about casting spells "on" them, and they all only work or trigger when the spell targets them specifically. Hand-buffing will not work.

We don't know it yet tho we only saw minion interactions yet this is a quest.
By the way I think worst quest is Lakkari Sacrifice. People really don't understand Discard mechanic and they call this quest good.
With all the help Paladin needs this is what we get? Worst class post Un'Goro confirmed.
Try warlock. At least Paladin can play N'Zoth archetypes. Warlock can play... discard-rng.
The quest is highly dependent on the rest of the cards. So far I don't see it being viable. Simply not enough good buff cards. Also, the reward, while decent, is easily removed, unless you get the spell immunity choice (and even then, it's a one-time thing). Other class quests have a more profound impact.

What does that have to do with anything? The mechanical description already exists. That's like asking if the Hunter Quest is going to count tokens summoned by other cards. We already know how that mechanic works for everything else, and there's no reason to think it'll work any different for quests. Everywhere else in the game, summoning something does not trigger effects that would trigger when you play something, so we can expect the same for the Hunter quest. Everywhere else in the game, casting a spell on something means targeting it specifically, so we can expect the same for the Paladin quest.

"Put 'em all in", they said. "You gon' be ballin", they said.

Can work, need some testing...
There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !
out of all the reasons to why this card is bad you decide to make fun of the worst reason?
6 SPELLS?! 6?! THERE ARE BARELY 6 TO CAST
This card will be quite strong as long as they print 1 or 2 more blessing of kings level buff cards. If not this wont see play.
The only way this could be great is if there is a 3 MANA +2/+2 spell that gets returned to your hand at the end of your turn.
