So... 2x Divine Strength 2x Blessing of Kings 2x Blessing of Might 2x Blessing of Wisdom 2x Silvermoon Portal 2x Seal of Champions
Realistically you need 10-12 buff cards to get your quest done. You're already down first turn because you played the quest. You can't even Blessing of Wisdom an enemy because it doesn't count towards the quest.

At this point, I'd be shocked if we don't get a 1-mana Paladin spell "Adapt a minion," though its silly because its basically a "choose one" between some existing Paladin spells and some spare parts. This would at least enable (30% chance) a knife-juggler or pyromancer board clear for Paladin.
Well, called that one. The three cards revealed do make this quest infinitely better. I'm changing my vote to good. Actually excited to make some decks with this now
AFTER SET review this is the 8th hardest to complete and worst reward. Rip Paly
I think it actually has potential. Plus Galvadon is so much better than most of the other rewards. While it's not Time Warp it has the ability to generate a lot of value.

Come play Make the Keyword! It's a fun game and we need some new blood.
Check out Hearthcards.net if you wanna try to make your own cards. (They're not sponsoring me, but I want them too)
Now the quest is much better. With the new murloc, the adapt spell and the new neutral legendary. Also i am crafting a golden Sunkeeper Tarim to debuff the shit out of beast druids, jade, and taunt warriors in style
I actaully think the best support card for this quest is Emerald Hive Queen
That actually makes a lot of sense the more I think about it. If you are playing a lot of buffs it's likely that you want to buff turn 2 most of the time anyways.
Buffs ismt the only thing. Heals like holy light and the one that gives divine shield will work too
now if it works on avenge i might play secret pally in wild
What are you talking about?? Why should Avange trigger the quest??? You have to target your minion with a spell . Argent Protector and Lightfused Stegodon dont work with the quest .
Also you dont wanna run bad cards like Holylight ,cause its hard to imagine they dont clear your stuff ,and if you only draw this as a T2 play, you are most likely done anyway.

High health minions for cheap? You know. Like taunt minions... and hand of protection and blessing of wisdom is still in the format
The chance of getting at least one specific buff from galvadon is ~83%, so if there's something you need galvadon get you'll probably get it. So if there is a buff you need you'll most likely get it. Stuff like stealth and shroud overlap a little so if you want at least either defensive buff it's 99%.
As far as the minion itself is concerned he offers some solid consistency, but even with all of the defensive buffs in the world he still can die to things like devolve, twisting nether, king mosh+ww, volcano(unless you get +3 health 3+ times or 3+divine shield), pyro+equality(even with divine shield, they just need one more spell), brawl can all deal with it. Probably more I'm forgetting that are practical. I have a hard time believing you can get him out turn 5 and every turn after that his risk of being removed increases.
When they see you playing a paladin deck they will save removal for your galvadon because that's your only win condition and they know it, or they will rush you. The rest of your deck will struggle to keep up and when you finally get your check card you need to hope they don't have the answers. Aggro decks will probably win the race since paladin early game minions+cycle is ass, and all meta control decks have reactive direct answers except maybe priest or mage. Yet even still priest has mass dispel which ain't good but might be a tech, and mage has stall after stall after stall.
So galvadon is good, probably would see play at even 9-10 mana in paladin, but the quest is probably garbage and the deck along with it.
I've found the quest is actually pretty easy to pull off. I managed to get it done more often than not by turn 6. Surprisingly, might actually be the easiest. The problem is that Galvadon is (sadly) the worst reward of all the quests. He's wildly inconsistent, and usually does not last more than a turn (or two if you managed stealth). Then you're left with a deck full of garbage buffs. At least when you played MC, you knew exactly what you were going to get.
I've tried it several ways. I tried more aggro, I tried more control. I tried one with Hemet and moltons/wrath as a win condition, which was fun, but also not very consistent.
If you really want to play Paladin, may I suggest aggro murloc. Just took in from 20-15 on the ladder in no time.
i really wanted to BELIEVE, but there are no good buffs/something to support this quest; furthermore this is one of the worst rewards u can get from quests imo (only a beefy minion, exposed to hard removal, devolved, returned to hand, etc).
non-creative 5+ adapt cmon blizz the same thing happened with don hancho and its 5+/5+ "legendary" effect. looking all the pala cards there is no path nor one clear direction of what it should be focused on: nzoth control paly(deathrattle), handladin, aggro, midrange (maybe the only par deck of all), quest, murloc... hopefully in the next expac they'll introduce some consistency for one or more of the arctypes aforementioned, becasue right now as it is, there are not enough cards to support such arctypes or at least not in the short term.
So... 2x Divine Strength 2x Blessing of Kings 2x Blessing of Might 2x Blessing of Wisdom 2x Silvermoon Portal 2x Seal of Champions

Gah, it's just bad bad bad.

if you give him deathrattle can you revive him by nzoth later??
no good if the opponent has a card that can clear/stop Galvadon once the (painful) triggering process happens)
Devolve for shaman
Twisting nether/doom for warlock
Mass silence for priest
Pyro/equality for paladins
brawl or massive taunt wall for warrior
deadly shot with hunter (if he can clear rest of board)
others might be in some trouble though?
If they stop you, its pretty much game over, I think?
What about
Corrupting Mist
Sunkeeper Tarim

After 10 or 11 attempts Reckfull did the Quest :D
Unfourtunately he wasnt able to play Galavadon because he killed his opponent in the same turn with the buffed minion.......
