I'm the only one who thinks this is just broken? 5 damage? 5 DAMAGE? from what I recall I don't remember a minion that can do this much targeted damage, even the legendary that impaler guy deals 4 and with a lot harder condition to fulfill.
Didn't think much of the elemental tribe but this along with the one that discovers elemental is gonna be so strong. Curvestone is more real than ever.
Expensive, but it should see some play (at least at first!)
The aggro meta probably won't kill you by turn 5 (my prediction). Blizzard is releasing a lot of powerful anti-aggro taunts (Second-Rate Bruiser, Tar Creeper) as well as great AOEs (Corrupting Mist, Volcano). I predict there will be a midrange meta.
Get Trump back in his party glasses like he did in the Hemet video and have him pimp this card. "Now everyone can have the Fire Elemental!"
Fast-talking radio lawyer voice: "No Brann Bronzebeard in Standard. Blazecaller requires elemental played in previous round, so it's not like you can just whip it out to counter your opponent's immediate threat. Epic card, may not be in 100 or so packs you open. Must survive seven turns. Heathstone is not responsible if your opponent makes a move that suddenly ruins your planned combo."
This card will be seen annoyingly often. If they gave Druid elementals, it would be seen all the time. 5 damage and 6/6 body for 7 mana is crazy. at least firelands has some RNG downside.
fire elemental into this is disgusting with no effective counterplay as of now. A 6/5 that deals 3 dmg followed by a 6/6 that deals 5 dmg. in arena this is basically game winning and all you needed was to draw the fire ele and this before turn 6-7. uggggggggggh.

Having an elemental played on-curve on turn 6 is rather easy, especially for shaman (Fire Elemental) and mage, with either Water Elemental and some kind of ping/removal or 2nd stage Pyros (6 mana 6/6). Even if you don't need to play this on turn 7, you can instead play Servant of Kalimos for some extra value and keep the elemental trigger rolling into turns 8+. There are even easy ways of generating the cheap 1 mana 1/2 elementals to squeeze in on-curve to help later elemental triggers come out on curve.
Really powerful effect, people on the hemet jungle hunter card are really praising the heck out of that card, if the meta is slow enough for that card to see play, this will definitely see play. And this can be seen as a neutral summoning portal that always guarantees a 6/6 body. Strong card. The only issue is that you have to play an elemental last turn, which should not be that much of an issue because there are quite a lot of elementals that have been released in this expansion as well as old cards being given the elemental tag.
However this does support the archetype of a curvestone elemental deck, While I think this card is really good and I like it, I have heard complaints on this site about the idea of curvestone.
Does Firelands Portal see play? Yes What does FP do? Deals 5 damage and generally gives you somewhere around a 5/5. What does Blazecaller do (assuming condition met)? Deals 5 damage and gives you a 6/6. Will Blazecaller see play? Yes, assuming that the elemental curvestone deck is good enough as a whole.
Should also be noted that one of the weaknesses of curvestone elemental is the difficulty in 'breaking the chain', given that if you play no elementals on one turn, your next turn could be weakened and it could really screw up your whole game. Having removal attached to an elemental is very, very useful for such a deck - you don't have to make the choice; you can remove a threat *and* get your elemental trigger.
Slow for the inc meta, idk why the ppl thinks its better than Firelands Portal, this card need a elemental last turn.
I don't think that will be such a huge problem if you have a deck full of elementals. On the rare occasions it does cause problems you only have to wait to use it and depending on what deck you are running I often hold onto cards until it's right to use them. This will be no different. Just hold it for the right moment, play as a control deck. Control decks should have more than enough tools to enable a few bad rng turns.
That being said, jade's can still be problematic unless in the many more cards releases to come there is something specific to counter large jade's. We shall live in hope!
To add to this it's basically a blackwing corrupter on crack and guess what, blackwing saw play even with less activators available in the deck then shaman or mage will have access to with elementals.
This is Fireland portal and blackwings love child and I love it. One of the most powerful neutral cards in game to date but not auto include in ever deck due to activator requirement - maybe we could even say a balanced card?

Better than Firelands portal. Getting a solid statline every time.

Goodbye Stone Sentinel, hello Blazecaller!
Funny to see the neutral one is better than class one...
EDIT: all these Elementals have higt cost, maybe it's the time for Far Sight?

Welp, I know this is technically a neutral card, but I'm pretty sure it cements Shaman as the OP class of the set ... again.

Err Shaman is the elemental master? If elemental deck is any good they will all be for shaman's glory.
We need to start Drug testing these minions. Fire Elemental is obviously on performance enhancers.
