There are potential applications.. Most notably, in a combo deck.. Thin out cards to draw your combo quick.. Unfortunately combo usually is going to have 3 drops and under in there.. So it would be a pretty situational play.
Probably won't see play, but it's nice seeing effects that are different
I like it. Although some cheap cards are actually great topdecks, such as arcane intellect. I think whoever makes the deck will build with that in mind.
Wow, certainly wasn't expecting this card. Obviously couldn't add this to just any deck. But be assured someone out there will create a deck that makes him work.

Question: How destroying cards in your deck count? Like Fel Reaver (It say discard, but doesn't work like discard)? Is it discard like Ambush! (then how it work with Fist of Jaraxxus)?
This is a disgustingly strong effect for a midrange tempo deck. Once again I'm reminded of how Mysterious Challenger ensured a disgusting curve by removing your bad topdecks .
This is the type of card that separates the casuals and the smarter players. Casuals see the text and instantly assume it's unplayable. "Why would I ever want to destroy my own cards! That's just deck thinning!" As our salt master lord always says "you're an idiot and probably bad at the game if you think deck thinning is bad" - Reynoodle. Deck thinning is great when you have a late game plan. And if you think this goes against the hunter quest then you haven't thought this one through. Assuming you play this on curve, what is the one thing that instantly makes you made after turn 6? "Omg my opponent draws perfect turn 7 minion while I draw a wisp (whatever low cost minion you want). It literally allows you to trim out those minions and continue to grind out/curve better. And to go with the Hunter quest. Assuming you're playing an aggressive 1 drop hunter, by turn 6 you'd have the quest done and playing this card trims your deck so you don't have to worry about drawing the small drops late game. This card literally allows you to jump directly from aggro/early game to end game. Along with already being able to filter through the 1 drops, playing the Hunter quest reward refills your deck with the raptors that can easily continue to either fill your board or draw a Highmane easier. Obviously this card isn't mean for rogues or other classes that live off of low cost combos but it's insane for somebody that needs a fast early start to be able to last until the late game and be able to combo the pricier cards. Y'all need to think big picture and not just "herp, I lost all my cards because I play aggro". This card will more then likely be insane for hunters. And I'll be reposting this as it's own thread once everybody starts complaininng about hemet hunter. FACT!
All of those are 0-mana cards and will be destroyed by Hemet.
Another interesting thought for Rogue: Hemet, Jungle Hunter > Preparation (not destroyed if in your hand) > Thistle Tea could be a nice power play late game. In Wild you might consider Chromaggus and Gang Up as additional copying or a way to 'reload' your deck before you cast Thistle Tea. If you could hit a card like N'Zoth with Thistle Tea in a deathrattle Rogue that would be crazy.
Great! its Hemet, The Clown!
Cant wait to see someone who burn his entire deck with this card.

Seems ok.
Cards that pull minions or copies of them from your deck could benefit from the deck thinning Hemet, Jungle Hunter provides. Cards like Madam Goya and Barnes, Varian Wrynn and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound come to mind.

I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."
My latest deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1366184-scholomance-charge-rez-priest-wild
I'M DOIN IT BOIS
actually, i might just remove those arcane intellects lel
people who hate on cards like this are the problem with hearthstone.
I could make sooo many Pally crush you decks, buff a bunch of quick lil 1 droppers and slay til 6 then thin deck to drop a lot of fury boom
Not to mention the situation you topdeck crap after crap and you really need that nzoth to close the game!
What happens if you destroy a Murloc how the Murloc Warleader, resurrect with Anyfin?
I think who not but Blizzard always follows your own logic
Weasel Tunneler
Want to get this so bad from a pack...
Figured out which deck to use this with. It'll be a blast.

What would make this card even more meme-y is if every card that was destroyed triggered its deathrattle if applicable

I think he will be perfect in a Wild Aviana/Kun/C'thun deck. He'll help draw the combo quicker and more consistently. Fun and creative card!

Here is a thought: Hemet, Jungle Hunter in Wild will destroy negative ability cards, not just minions, that can get shuffled into your deck.
