People seem to think that having played an elemental last turn is too conditional ... Everytime Blizzard has wanted to push some theme, there has been plenty of minions to Curvestone its way into the game (Mechs, Dragons, C'Thun, even Jades). So the condition will be very easy to fulfill (in the appropriate deck).
Compare this card to Tinkertown Technician which, despite not being a Mech, was played in all Mech decks (the flexibility of the Spare part is present in the form of adapt, where only the windfury is meh)
TL,DR: this card will be the 3-drop staple of Elemental decks. EDIT: In addition to Tar Creeper of course
Again, Adapt minions are overcosted. I really hope they're viable.
lol, this could be a 3 mana 3/6, 6/3 or 4/4... Isn't taht good enough for 3 mana? It can even be a 3 mana 3/3 divine shield, Scarlet Crusader it's a 3/1 for 3 mana.
"Could" is the key word. A simple three mana 3/3 is garbage. So it comes to reliably getting it to trigger and get what you want/need off the adapt.
This just tells me that every deck will be able to play elementals to some extent. I'm going to guess that there will be an elememe package everyone uses that's like 10 cards and builds around it. But all in all, if you roll taunt, it's literally the shit bear exactly. I think taunt is under stated in adapt. Should be +1 HP and taunt.
Elemental Packages are here! Does your deck need early game? Can you not run patches? The elemental package is here for you!
Just start with 2 fire fly or Glacial Shard. Why not both? Splash in Tar Creeper, and finish off with a nice, smooth Thunder Lizard and Tol'vir Stoneshaper.
Great in arena IF you have a elemental deck. Similar to Tinkertown Technician, good if you have mechs, bad if you don't. Hard to know how easy it is to get elementals in an arena deck reliably.
My guess it that it won't see play much in a constructed elemental deck. The 4-mana elemental synergy card, Tol'vir Stoneshaper, had better upside than this card (for one extra mana, you basically hit three of the best adaptions guaranteed), meaning you really don't want to miss an elemental on turn 3. It's a fair card, I like it, but my guess is that it won't fit in a top elemental deck. Could be wrong, though.
if it was just a 3/3 beast that adapted it would probably be ok. However as it is now I don't see it being played anywhere but arena. I mean even if it was just adapt it still probably wouldn't be played in constructed.
This is realy awkward, since this bites with tha 3/5 devineshield taunt which trades for free against this. so i think people will go with the 3/5 devine shield over this, playing both realy makes the curve weak and clunky so basically you have to decide.
If it was a 3/3 adapt would be bad, but the elemental played in the turn before... more shit cards for Shit'Goro. Even with fiery claws doesn't die to BGH because it is so bad...
In terms of cost allocation this card is fair. Arguably every single adapt besides taunt makes this worth more than three mana. Some are blatantly way overcurve(+3 health +3 attack divine shield +1/+1). If it was an unconditional adapt it would not have the current attributes.
Of course is it good to see play? Probably not, since Blizzard continues to follow the derpy policy of making class cards blatantly unfair for their costs thus making most properly allocated neutrals bad by comparison unless they have a very specific effect that relegates them to a tech card or are made good by great class spells/minion synergy.
This is an awesome minion, Provided you can activate it on curve most of the time.
If you can't...It's well meh.
Tinkertown Technician was great, Silverware Golem is good because even though it's condition was hard to furfill it's still a 3/3 on 3, which isn't awful.
My concern with this card is there are no 2 cost elementals revealed so far.
This card is directly superior to Scarlet Crusader, Thrallmar Farseer, Spider Tank, Emperor Cobra, ect, and you get to choose. The problem is, is fulfilling a requirement in order to be slightly better than awful cards good enough? Even with the amount of versatility it brings, I doubt it. Even if they print a 2 mana Elemental, I just don't think this is enough value.
I'm betting there's a card in the set akin to Loatheb: "Next turn elementals costs 15 mana" or maybe "5 mana extra", as a way to play around elemental played last turn synergy. That would piss off some Ozruk players I bet.
The Spider Tank of Un'Goro, could possibly see play?

This actually makes me think Elementals will be a decent archtype.
Decent to be sure.
Nice in arena, probably good in wild with brann. Can't see it worthwhile in standard unless it's some elemental deck we've yet to see.

Why the lol? You can disagree with someone without coming across insulting.

Don't think it's that good
Also, name kind of sounds like a 5 year old made it up
