As the expansion release date approaches, I was wondering whether I should invest my remaining Dust to get a golden copie of
or
or alternatively, to wait and keep that dust for later. The fact is, I have enough dust (3.2k) for one gold legendary but as I was to craft one gold version, I started to wonder ... So I'm asking you: In your opinion, what's the wise thing to do : Wait for the release and save Dust so I have more to craft some new? Or Craft some old staples to increase Dust Reward?
If you have the dust I'd say go for it. You'll get your full refund from the HoF rotation and if you don't care about golden cards you can disenchant them for even more dust. Either way you get the dust back so there's really no reason not to.

Thanks for your answer. My main issue is having limited resources (time & $) when it is time to craft or open new packs, so building up dust can be challenging. This being said, I do have enough for at least one golden legendary, and one rare card, thus the thread. Thanks for the input, kind sir.
Thanks, I appreciate the input. Glad that you guys are comforting my initial reasoning, but just didn't wanted to make a hasty move with the precious arcane dust ^^
Thanks, I think I was looking for some guide - before I probably got distracted with something else, resulting in the creation of this thread - I'll look for this guide. Thanks for your time, have an upvote :)
If you have the dust there really is no downside, it's a no bRainer. The only real decision is are you gonna dust them or not afterwards for even more dust or keep them to play in wild. Now if you don't have the dust and you have to disenchant things in order to craft them.. then it's not really worth it. But if you do have the dust you're essentially putting it in a savings account & will get the dust back (and get to keep the cards).
i already had most of them in gold anyways but crafted the rest. I gotta add, I'm still mad they're taking ice lance and sylvanas out of standard. If anything needed to go it was the major aggro bs. that s&$@ ruins the game.

I was by no mean going to decraft any since I still play Wild every now and then. I was just getting nervous, as I was to craft a golden Sylv for the rewards, wondering if I was doing the right thing. Took me a while do get that 3200 dust required for it ... but so far everyone's comforting my initial thought, so guess that I'll visit the Arcane Dust Bank and do a little deposit then :P Many thanks for the input
If you have the dust to craft them, then sure. You get the dust back and if you DE them you technically profit. I say technically because that profit only matters if you aren't DE your other cards to craft the goldens. I don't see the point in dicking with it honestly. Just save your gold and open packs. Maybe craft the legendaries if you don't have them.
No offense, but this question is not really the most intelligent. If you have the dust, saving it is literally the same outcome as crafting the legendaries(whether golden or not) I would say craft 100% I just opened golden Rag myself and almost have enough dust for Sylvanas.

Ironically, this answer isn't the most intelligent. You state that it's the same outcome yet recommend crafting 100%. Saving and crafting do NOT get you the same outcome in terms of total dust value.
IF YOU HAVE THE NORMAL ONES, DONT CRAFT BY ANY MEANS THE GOLDENS. ONLY if you want to collect the goldens and dont care if you will lose gold. If you want to make profit and crafted the normal ones dont craft the goldens
Let's say you have 4800 dust. You craft the normal one and then you decide you want the golden. Wasted 4800 dust. Now the expansion comes and you get your refund. You get only 3200 dust because you get rewarded for the maximum amount of copies you can put in a deck. That's 1 for legendaries. If you have 1 golden then you will be rewarded for 1 golden. So you wasted 4800 and got refunded 3200. Still 1600 dust minus. Let's say you keep the golden and dust the normal. +400. That's 1200 minus but you got yourself a golden legendary for 1200 dust only. Let's say you dust it too then you gained +1600. That's 400 dust profit. But why would you craft them both then dust them?
Let's say you have neither and craft normal. Then the expansion comes, you get refunded 1600, same amount as you have spent. So you got yourself a free legendary. Let's say you dust it. Then +400 free dust for you.
Let's say now you have neither and craft only golden for 3200. You get 3200 as a refund. And a free golden legendary since you had no profit or loss. Let's say you dust it? Then 1600 free dust for you

No offense taken whatsoever for not asking the most intelligent question ^^ And I hope you won't take offense in my reply, but your answer is so vague not to say confusing... My question - as trivial as it is - was should I Craft one GoldorKeep 3.2k Dust. Was simply curious of what others would do and looking for a little guidance. I appreciate that you left your input, even if I'm not sure on which side you were leaning. Maybe the question is anyway irrelevant and is only due to compulsive gold desire : Dragon sickness ? Where's Dr. Boom when you need a diagnosis?

Irony aside, that's a lovely Explorer's Hat you got there, Mister Sloth. [Introductory Flattery: Check] Now that I have your attention, can I opportunistically - and rhetorically - ask you ; What would you rather do : Craft or Save ? (Think I haven't omit any punctuation marks <sorry for my grammar>)
Yeah now that i read through it, i don't know what I was saying either. I really need to review what i write before posting sometimes :P
I guess what i meant to say is that you should just craft them, you get the same amount of dust either way when the expansion dropped.
No worries, good sir. You made me realize that maybe my wording for the question wasn't clear either and that likely, others would to, so I just re-edited to adjust. Thanks for the short and clear answer ^^ Have an upvote

"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"I debated investing the 1200 dust pimping my Ragnaros.
I doubt I'll go through with it. That's kind of steep for no functional difference.
Opponents will shit their pants whether he's golden or not. So pretty, though...
