let's be honest here, Silverhand token Paladin doubling as white growing wheenies was the literal no brainer deck for paladin from a design standpoint, they decided to pursue murlocs for who knows what reason (Paladins champion stuff?), and although that ended up being pretty fun it isn't exactly Paladin identity worthy, this card exists for those wild decks that want sinergy with silverhand recruits .
Less relevant than both living roots or alley cat. Maybe there's silver hand recruit synergy yet to be released, but so far looks like this isn't paladin's expansion.

why did this card not read 1 mana put 2 0-cost silver hand recruits into your hand? it would synergize with the hand buff narrative they tried to push during MSoG and actually might have made the deck playable. but this has no synergy with the handbuff deck since its a spell, no real synergy with control paladin, you would just play mistress of mixtures. and paladin has no aoe board buffs. the only way this is usable is with steward of darkshire and even that isnt that great
I forgot Warhorse Trainer was rotating out. So there are zero cards that buff recruits. They better announce something awesome.
Warhorse Trainer was pretty bad anyway though, so even if it stayed in the format it wasn't going to push Dude Paladin over the top any time soon. Justicar rotating out feels like a big loss to that archetype though, generating two dudes a turn always felt promising.
I'm banking on the Paladin Quest either hinging on summoning recruits, or there being at least one other piece to this yet to be revealed. Just look at the Hunter 5-drop for an example of how questionable cards all of a sudden look way more appealing.

Honestly I think this should have been part of the basic/classic set. SHRs and tokens in general are supposed to be Paladin's identity but they never were a thing.
I suppose that Paladin's quest will have something to do with SHRs.
no handbuff synergie which makes this card awkward after MSOG. They didnt want to reprint alleycat for paladin but being a spell makes this card so clunky. also smalltime recruits etc.
Great on turn 1. Boring card. Useless later without buffs. Interestingly, you can make your own muster for battle on turn 3 with this card. Without lights justice that is.
There'll be some Silver Hand synergy we haven't seen yet. That and Team 5 know buffadin is too strong with the new meta. Hence summon. Remember that the year of the Mammoth will completely overhaul the tiered landscape of Hearthstone.
changed vote to very good, because of the fact they are silverhand recruits and living roots still sees play even outside of token decks primarily for the two 1/1's to establish a board, also the fact that paladin is really lacking in the early game and this helps alot to get on board early, geting some kind of silverhand recruit buffer is only going to be icing on the cake
the 1 mana cost and the synergy with steward of darkshire, equality, and buffs makes this a auto include in every midrange/aggro paladin
I love wild midrange paladin, one of my favorite decks of all time. This does seem to fit rather well. Much easier to combo with Quartermaster and the new legendary than Muster for Battle. What does it replace, though?

Living Roots is flexible later on as a 1 mana 2 dmg card, or can be combo'd with Fandral. This card isn't that great, as it is always a summon two 1/1s. Sure it has some niche synergies with Tarim or Steward of Darkshire, but it's not really that impactful imo.
It's still a decent card that will see play in a deck that wants to curve out because it's better than any other 1 drop choices Paladin has right now except for maybe Mistress of Mixtures, and then it would come down to whether you want the potential synergies of Argus/Tarim/Darkshire more than the 4 heal. Also, Unstable Ghoul and Maelstorm Portal exist, so yeah. It's an okay card, nothing more.
Edit: Tarim has the same effect as Quartermaster as far as your board goes, but I feel that Tarim is a really important removal card for Paladin who doesnt have any way to deal with high health minions and you don't want to just throw it out to buff your 1/1s, you need to hit a big minion with it, which makes the card pretty specific if you want to get value from running this over Mistress.

I'm afraid the jades and pirates will loose nothing and will continue to rule the meta.

Kobolds are almost as bad as goblins, they gotta die (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
Finally a card you can use in a midrange deck, it supports cards like Steward of Darkshire, Defender of Argus and Grimestreet Protector.
However when you compare this card to Alleycat it's worse and it's obviously far worse than N'Zoth's First Mate.
You can't draw it with Small-Time Recruits and you can't buff it in hand.
Jesus christ blizzard, why do you always make it so hard for paladins.

Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)

I think history has shown that 1 mana 2x 1/1s is comfortably on the "good" side.

Do you know why you haven't seen Pally on the ladder? because he is Lost in the Jungle
