I agree with most of you saying the card is good but... do we really need it? Sap is just overall better if you're playing miracle and shadow strike can take care of most stuff too. There is a reason assassinate wasn't too popular and that card could still be prepped. This is like Xaril; great value and all, but just doesn't fit the rogue play style at the moment.
They've been making cards that don't belong in Miracle for the last 20000 sets, hoping that they'll finally hobble into a deck that can match that broken pile of crap.

"At the moment." You see this is the dumbest fucking thing every naysayer keeps bringing up. You know what Miracle has always played on turn 5? Azure Drake. You know what is not going to be in standard after rotation? Yeah. So fucking knock it off. This card is 1 stat point off a drake and can instantly destroy any minion, including cards like Soggoth. It is good at gaining tempo in the early game, backstab Flame Imp, this guy kills the Doomguard and is ready to kill something else. Likewise, if you are going into a slower game against control decks with minions like Ysera, this guy still kills that too. It's versatile, it's combo is worth the effort.
Again, this card is a 3 mana body and a 5 mana spell strapped together for 5 mana. It establishes a solid body unlike Assassinate, it can be bounced and reused unlike Assassinate, and it can target minions Assassinate can't. Fantastic card.
I love Miracle, but anyone judging this card based on current miracle needs to put the crack pipe down. Miracle is being skinned alive this rotation. I highly doubt it will be the strongest rogue deck after Un'goro.
One last point to note, Sap is good but it absolutely garbage at dealing with major taunts or threats. Do you want to sap a 5 mana 8/8 taunt priest plays, or kill it? Do you want to sap any of these insane quest cards with powerful Battlecries? No! Sap is absolute trash as far as that goes. You can't Conceal your board anymore either, so that means sapping a taunt and killing your opponent with a giant Questing isn't happening anymore.
I hope this explains to some of you why this is a good card. Conceal, Pillager and Azure Drake are leaving. No more hiding giant minions, aka your only win conditions. No more hiding Auctioneer. Some of you clearly don't understand how big of a deal that is. Miracle as you know it is dead. Stop acting like it isn't.
Also, Xaril will become a key card in Miracle going forward. It can draw cards, give you conceal, and act as an extra cold blood. So it's ironic to see you shit on your new 4 drop when Pillager leaves.
Remove Sherazin from that list. So far it is only somewhat playable in "miracle" decks, and they just have many other better things to drop than that card.

Do they? Pillger is rotating out. There will be room on the 4 slot. And its basically a small win condition with value ensurance given the fact that youll most likely to trigger her at least once.
With the Rogue quest this means brann shadowcaster and this cards beats any lategame including jade Druid, just get unlimited 1 mana 5/5s with battlecry destroy a minion. Dane already did a similar thing with unlimited big game hunters but this is better and with the quest it will be unbeatable

lol a rank 20 rogue would say this rubbish...have you used miracle rogue only to legend in standard mode?
If it's not a combo card, then it's insanely good. Do you know what does 'combo' means? That's so much harder to trigger!
Just to be sure : Who the hell said you should play this on turn 5 ? (not even mentioning Backstab, Preparation or the Coin)
well. you keep it in hand to kill a ysera, OK? how cool you are! You have everything you need to trigger the perfect combo you dream. You win the game automatically. I just want to know how far away you play miracle rogue to?
To legend, since closed beta.
Now that your mean attacks are over, maybe you could respond in a more respective way. The fact is you can combo this anytime you want past turn 6-7 and kill everything. With a 3-mana body, you just need to kill a 3-mana minion to make tempo swing (and not only Ysera).
Although I agree it doesn't fit well enough in miracle decks, it's a very nice addition to midrange decks. And before you ask : yes I try for now three years to build a competitive midrange rogue deck, and managed a few times to make it in the low ranks (between 4 and 2).
I want rogues to have a new mechanic. It would be called "supercombo". It's like combo but you would have to play 3 cards to activate it instead of 1. Could give rise to big control rogue cards which I would like to see
I'm just shocked that people actually thought this card would be bad. It's so insanely good and gives rogue extreme board control and tempo when you have two of these and two Saps.
I mean, there's a reason Rogue only plays Miracle and aggro...because they lack[ed] the removal tools to deal with late-game threats. I can see a midrange deck with Undercity Huckster, Shaku, the Collector, Xaril, Poisoned Mind, Sherazin, Corpse Flower, Shadowcaster, Vilespine Slayer, double Shadowstep, the removal suite, and maybe some neutral healing if we get any.
