This new tech cards will do something great even if you don't need to put in your deck, just for only exists put PW in check, if become overuse again the players have options to counter with any deck.
If you play druid and rogue vs this cursed deck you only watch your opponent hit your face with a multi-upgraded weapon in your face and nothing you can do.
Much more cards like this one need to be a option for preventing one deck dominate all, one good tech card vs jades like this one is for PW will be great too.
Amazing against current aggro decks, and the card art is probably my favorite art from this expansion! If i don't get this card, it will probably be on my must craft list.
I'm delighted to see a card like this, genuinely pleased. We have so many options across the classes for direct damage, removal etc. except when it comes to weapons.
This card on it's own automatically reduces the aggro deck percentage on the ladder which is only a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Also, it's another ooze!
Compared to what, the 4/3 that doesn't see play? It's a worse on-curve play than Swamp Ooze and the draw from Harrison is just different altogether. It's good, but I'm not sure I see where the powercreep argument really comes in since the only other 3-mana weapon hate that's been made is basically not worth playing.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
Maybe this isn't power creep as I stated before. The body has below the curve stats, making it trash against the weaponless classes.
But this is a good example of what's wrong with this game. This card is just a bit of duct tape into a flaw. It reminds me the early days of MSoG: "but you can tech against PW"... yeah... and end up with a weak deck against everything else... More of the same.
It's another "rock-scissor-paper" approach to balance: beats X, get crushed by Y. The safe approach to balance, making game even less interactive.
Team 5 are either incompetents or are throwing dust into players eyes, probably both.

Other than going back and nerfing Pirate Warrior cards, what do you suggest? Because people are going to have much more problem with that than they are with this card. This is a fine approach to balance and one most games take, yes you can take this card and be weaker sometimes, so the smart player realises where the meta is and adjusts their deck accordingly... as far as I'm concerned that should be how a game is balanced.
Okay, for the people saying that Blizzard is half-assing it by releasing cards like these that are only powerful against the most powerful deck, let me remind you about why Pirate Warrior is so powerful. For an incredibly long time now, there has been a MASSIVE lack of answer tools for dealing with weapons and spammed weapon buffs, which is what made Pirate Warrior (along with the range of good Pirate cards released in WoG and MSG) such a powerful class in the end. Gluttonous Ooze serves the same purpose in-game as Hungry Crab or Big Game Hunter: an Epic card with a situational effect where it will be more powerful depending on the situation. And with this thing, not only do you get rid of the enemy Pirate Warrior's most powerful tool for dealing face damage, but you gain more of a benefit based on how powerful the weapon is. And that's something you people should be THANKFUL for, not needlessly complaining about.
I think it is about time we actually started getting answers. A complaint I have heard is that there is not enough answers for aggression. I have given blizzard grief in the past, however I think its getting to the point that Blizzard are damned if they do and damned if they don't. No matter what they do, they will still be wrong.
But getting back on topic, the effect is really cool, however against classes that do not have weapons than it is just a 3 mana 3/3 which is kind of awkward.
This is a great design for weapon removal. Everything from the cost of the minion to it's effect. Kudos to the Blizzard team for this one. I'm voting very good.
So thinking more about this card, I love the fact that it is the ultimate punish for big weapons and the fact that over 50% of the classes have weapons (hunter, paladin, warrior, rogue, shaman). I think this card is pretty good. And what I love about most of the reveals today is these are pretty interesting cards.
Also touch wood this will be the first big expansion without a vanilla minion. No more worgen greasers or ice ragers.

This card is absolutely meta-defining. It almost single-handedly counters a tier-1 deck from this season, pirate warrior.
Why, yes-yes... I think I will tech this in my deck. Thank you kind sir! In fact, bring me another! I want to double punish the SMORc!!
