I guess if you have 2xShadowstep and 2xSwashburglar in the opening hand it's the dream... turn 2 you have 2 5/5 on the board and you have 4 class cards from your enemy's class in your hand
This seems insanely difficult to pull off while keeping the game stabilized. Even if you can do it by turn 5, you'll still have to pass that turn to get the portal up. You'll probably be dead before any 5/5's can be played. Maybe for the memes?

You need 5 mana to play the quest, first. And I'm not sure if it transforms minions that are already on the field.
Summoning Patches from your deck won't count. You have to "play" them from your hand
I know that so you can play a minion (not a pirate and shadowstep it 2 times.. add yothtful brewmaster for additional playing from hand) when you get the spell play it and then you trow pirate out you get patches additionaliy then gang it up. Also its theorycraft so ill try and see how it does and change it. Hell you can add vanish when you get a bunch of Patcheses throw out Thaurissan so you get 4 Patches that are 5/5 for 0 mana

Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it gets boring so I go back to being myself.
This is an awesome card. It is totally off the wall, encouraging an entirely new deck. I don't think it is as all possible to judge how good it will be. It is one of those grim patron style cards, it could easily be really bad, or maybe it is amazing if you manage to tune the list just right. The payoff is actually really strong. It won't win the game immediately, but it will make it easy for you to put out quite a few 5/5s consistently, which is something no deck can deal with for long.
Fun Fact with shadow step and wisp you can do this turn 1 and have 2 5/5s on the board.
but im really not sure what this does exactly. Does this mean your minions donr get damage anymore? because it should always stay as 5/5 according to wording here.
If thats the case wisp/fairy man/panda deck could be real since thats realy easy to pull of.
But you need to play quest first and mind that it takes a spot in your opening hand.
To be honest, I like this mechanic. But in a world where each class is only getting one quest, I feel for rogue players getting this instead of something obviously viable.
That being said, this might turn out to be a solid deck if players bring enough creativity. Bomb Squad synergy is kind of a thing, because Shadowstep means his deathrattle doesn't go off, and the quest reward would set him at 5/5 if you draw him late. It ain't a 4 mana 7/7, but it's something...
Maybe some kind of Token/Copy Rogue, with Violet Teacher, all the doubling cards, and Gadgetzan Auctioneer is possible? I don't know, but I'm kind of excited to see how this turns out.

You're assuming you have nothing on Board. Let's say turn 3 you play swashburgler>brewmaster. Turn 4 you play swashburglar> shadowstep>swashburglar>ferryman>swashburglar. You've competed the quest. Chances are you have 1, maybe two minions on the board. So your turn 5 will be a buff of those minions giving you 1-2 5/5s and then you get the bonus all game
I'm fine waiting and seeing ... but this seems like garbage. The 5-mana spell should at least summon a 5/5 minion too. Wasting an entire turn 5 to just summon 5/5s for the rest of the game (which, that late in the game, isn't really that awesome) ... not great.
Turn 5 ... play spell.
Opponent plays a Cairne on their turn...
All tempo lost and I am playing low mana 5/5s that can't get through his 8/8s that will be coming soon anways...
I play a Jade Rogue. I've summoned Jade Spirit around that many times in a match if I get the cards. There's gang up, Shadow Caster, Shadow step, etc. I think ill be giving this card a go for sure.
Seems bad. Hard to judge right now obviously, but it's not that the quest itself is incredibly difficult to do, it's that the effect seems rather unambitious compared to the ones we've already seen.

While playable, this card seems like a scrapped and recycled Paladin idea. It doesn't have a Rogue feel to it at all.
I don't want to open this

The reward is not worth it.
This is... interesting.

A tricky quest with a reward I'm not even sure is good enough.
Does anyone know if minions summoned by battlecries become 5/5s as well. And how does the effect work with buffed cards like Edwin?
