Am I the only one who sees the insane synergy with Moroes? Like every turn you will get 5/5. And quest isn't really that hard to accomplish. It will also synergize with cards summoning more than one minnion. Maybe Defias Ringleader will see play? We'll see :)
You are probably the only one that sees it because it doest work like that.
The card affects minions...not the tokens that spawn from them.
Nope, tokens will be 5/5. It's just that tokens are not fulfilling the quest, but they are creatures.
And you are backing this BS up with...what?
Because it's absolutely logical and he is right. The tokens spawned by Moroes will not count for the purpose of the quest but they will be buffed to 5/5 s once the quest is completely.
Based on what? What precedent has been set for this?
"For the rest of the game your minions are 5/5"
It needs to be clarified but he should spawn 5/5s every turn
Tokens are not standard minions.
Its the same difference as summoned vs played vs spawned
People are assuming WITHOUT REASON that this is like an AoE effect on your board and hand. A constant pulse that activates every time a new thing is played/spawned on the board.
WE HAVE NO REASON TO BELIEVE THAT. In fact going by past card examples we have more reason to believe the OPPOSITE.
Could it affect tokens? Maybe, but to assume it does currently without blue clarification is asine. As I said there is more reason to believe it does not affect tokens.
the quest itself is something to complete but having your one or two mana minions being 5/5, however how does this affect tokens or buff up minions like questing adventurer. Are jades and buff minions in rouges always going to be 5/5 .
IT says your minions are 5/5... I'm pretty sure when you scroll over Moroes servants it says "minions" at the bottom and not "token." Does make me worry about my main man Edwin Though.
Seems like you need to fill your deck with a bunch of garbage to fulfill the quest which means the deck will be inconsistent. Rogues rarely play anything over 5/5 so debuffing isn't an issue but I'm essentially a netdecker so I have no qualifications to judge. Seems like the worst quest so far.

Having one and two mana 5/5s really isnt a big deal for a couple of reasons.
1) You cant play the reward till turn 5 so unless you are going second and have the coin you arent getting your 5/5s out till mid game...more than enough time for your foe to be able to deal with the result
2) You have to spend quite a few cards to get the reward. By the time you got it set....you have an empty hand and nothing to capitalize on it with.
Perception matters. After all the times Rogue has been shafted with nerfs and lackluster content in expansions, Blizz really needed a card the players could say, in unison, "yes, this is it, we are back now!" Lamentably, this battered, bruised, class will have to wait longer.

Rogues are known to get the shittiest legendaries...the legacy continues. Both the legendary minion and quests are shitty. Not that interesting either...for the rest of the game, your minions are 5/5, seriously?
This card can break the meta. We still have to see some releases, but you can definetly put a board by turn 4 with copied cards and play this card getting instavalue btw. Rogue now seems clonish, violet teacher synergy is freaking great. We'll make probably a new tempo rogue/aggro rogue deck work if there are viable cards that copy themselves and return it to your hand. Synergy with the new rogue card aswell. People are really underrating this card. Like, seriously. Without conceal rogue won't have auchtionner shenanigans as much, so it actually makes sense that some new kind of interaction. ability like this give us rogue players new ways to play the game. Let's see. We can't evaluate the card yet, but seems great. You just need to think ahead.
Well, this opens some interesting possibilities. Just have to figure out where to find four same minions lol. Can jade golems be considered minions with same name?
it says "play" not "summon" so i think jade is out
With all the bounce effects, this one should be pretty easy. Will be interesting to see how you optimize to trigger this as quickly as possible--any later than T5 and the reward is not that OP.
Looking forward to my 1-mana 5/5 charging pirates.
So i have been watching noxiousglhf's opinion about this quest and I have to agree with him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fF7USjwE8wg. He pretty much explains it better than I can. This is not an easy quest to complete, and I think out of all of the quests a deck using this quest is going to take the most brainpower and variations on how to complete it because you cannot just play 4 minions with the same name, you have to think about how to actually do it. There are different ways to complete this quest potentially such as bouncing cards back into your hand with shadowstep or using the youthful brewmaster or even something ridiculous such as wisp, wisp, vanish, wisp, wisp and then being able to turn all of your minions into 5/5's. This probably woulsd also affect the tokens created by shadowcaster so you could end up getting 5/5 tokens
I can't wait to see what creative ideas and decks players come up with to use this quest, this could really inspire some really fun decks and I think that is great for the game.
If somebody manages to create a deck that is competitive which makes this quest work than you sir are an insane genius and I will tip my hat off to you.
I think I am going to have lot of fun with this quest. I may stay around rank 20 but that's ok... :D
I was thinking of Anub'arak as a way to complete the quest, but the reward isn't very useful in that case.

step 1 : complete the quest
step 2: use vanish
step 3: play all cheap charge minions, bounce them, give them cold blood buff
step 4: profit!

Step 1: Play The Caverns Below.
Step 2: Play 2 x Weasel Tunnelers with Gang Up, Shadowcaster and/or N'Zoth, the Corruptor until you have played 4 weasels.
Step 3: Play
Step 4: Weasel your way to victory

could be able to do it with dopplegangster and some bounce back cards, then make youre dopples 5/5 pretyyyyy guuudddd
BIG BUFF TO WILD MILL ROUGE Turn 1 gives you a massive curve
Soul Parade :)
Just can't see the thing on this. You have to make a lot of copies of the same card, and then play an awful lot of tokens to make it work?
At first sight, is terrible, and with Conceal leaving, things look ugly for rogue this expansion.

Dreaming of three to six 5/5 Patches the Pirate on turn 6 assuming quest is completed... ;P
