Kalimos looks really interesting, and the Elemental tribe overall looks like it can create some nice plays and counterplays as many cards seem to require having played Elementals the previous turn. So either there will be some abundant token-generation mechanics or there will be strategic choices as to when to play elementals and when not.
this won't be midrange, this is likely full on control shaman, likely with curve plays and taunts, along with fire fly and that new dude, Glacial Shard, we have single mana drops to promise that we get these effects off when we need them to happen.
Definitely going in my Spell Lords deck that I've had since gvg. Already had fire elemental, earth elemental, the 2/4 overload elemental, and ragnaros in that deck. This is gonna be an amazing addition.
I'll re-evaluate this card when Aya says farewell in a year.
2 years...
no wait, you're right. "At this point, Standard format will be updated to include only card sets added to the game in the current or previous calendar year"
Lol, Shaman still going to be OP and I'm not returning. Blizzard has to be the biggest pile of idiots to keep making cards like this and for Shaman.
sure,a pile of idiots that earn a lot of$ designin' games.
but i guess u would do a lot better :)
Yes, yes I would. Making money off of something doesn't make them any less stupid. Because they obviously have fan boys like you that will buy anything they put out.

Wow. This card might actually topple Troggzor as the most overrated card in Hearthstone. Midrange shaman is in top deck mode by turn 8, more so now that azure drake is rotating out. I'm not convinced that you will be able to reliably chain together elementals to get these battlecries off, especially in the late game, unless you make an elemental control deck, in which case the Jade Lotus clan says hello. I'll re-evaluate this card when Aya says farewell in a year.
While I wouldn't be so quick to call this card overrated like Troggzor - because frankly, a 8 mana 7/7 deal three damages to the enemy's board/ or whatever suits you considering the circumstances, is mana well spent - I understand that the entire elemental mechanic relies on having enough of the good elementals at the right time, and that implies good draw, which shaman has always sucked at, and that's not gonna get better with ancestral knowledge (albeit no one played it) and azure drake. With only a poor mana tide totem, I have no idea how midrange/control elemental shaman will ever get enough reliability while decks like jade continue to be super-consistent.
The card looks and probably is great - but isn't the elemental archetype fatally too slow for a meta where Jade is dominant, even more so if lack of drawing cripples the otherwise strong control decks ?
Are all of the choices available or only a few like adapt?

so you get a more consistent 3rd lightning strike... or 3 other useful effects. neat.
