Still not good for constructed. You dont play bad cards just for synergy, too much tempo loss
That's a silly thing to say.
At least 40 percent of Pirate Warrior comprises cards that used to be considered bad until the synergy finally reached a tipping point.
None of the cards in pirate worrior is "bad". Were good before, but worrior didnt run them because control was better, and the cards are not good control cards. The new cards pushed the agrro worrier play style, but not the cards from before are just as good in that style of deck as they were before.
southsea deckhand isn't a good card, but it pulls your patches so you play it. brann isn't a good card, but reno decks play him for synergy. furthermore, how could you know that they synergy is too weak for constructed if we've only seen 6 elementals?
I will argue southsea deckhand can be good as a finisher, even before patches. Brann is good because he has synergy with a lot of OP cards, and you can get value from him multiple turns. You can even play him an the potential value is so big your opponent has to kill it. This card you opponent can mostly ignore. And even if there comes an OP elemental (I think we can safely assume there will) I would imagine it would be better to play a minion on curve than this. The only reason I can see this being played is if there arent enough good elementals.
Best designed one-drop since Possessed Villager (and maybe better since it's not a class card). Not overly powerful or aggro, but the versatility means it can see play in a variety of decks besides just the elemental decks it was made for.
Non-aggro decks don't like playing one-drops because they are so low-value but it's the best way to resist the fast starts of other decks. This has the value of a 2-drop but lets you play something on turn one and take out Patches with ease.
Its good, its a 1 mana card with a body that adds another card to your hand which is also an elemental and If there are elemental synergies in this expansion than this card will be the first card picked since it is a neutral. Nothing terrible about it at all. Its a good card.
I don't think this is over the top good, but I can already see firefly, flame elemental, firefly, flame elemental into Edwin play happening. not to mention all the coins to go with it lol
sucks in evolve you just spent three mana for 4 mana of random stats
That's like the worst case scenario though. In reality you are probably hitting some other minions with Evolve. The extra value from Fire Fly is just icing on the cake. Even without Evolve, it's not that bad.
Compare to Murloc Tidehunter / Bilefin Tidecaller. Staple in Murloc decks. The latter sometimes has a place in non-Murloc decks. The same will be true of Fire Fly - Staple of Elemental decks and will fit in other decks.
Depending on the rest of the reveals, it may be possible that Elemental AND Evolve will work together - after all, most of the Elemental synergy we've seen involves having played an Elemental in the previous turn. If you play an Elemental and then Evolve it, you still get the value of hitting the Elemental trigger. That wouldn't work for Murloc Evolve (which is obviously a horrible idea)

Is it broken? No. Is it what elemental decks need? Hard to tell, but at the moment Id venture to say yes.
Another cycle card to activate Rogue legendary.
hey look a one drop that isnt completely busted, or so we think
Too many people saying how great it is for the rogue legendary. The rogue legend is utterly unplayable.
Seems ok.
Owl City Approves
not vary good low damge and tempo loss, will see play in some decks but it's got to much compation to see play else where

Vvreeeew.
Mark the following of my words: This card will be the most used card in this expansion.
it doesn't look like much, but it enables and benefits a lot of cards, even ones not used much anymore like Questing Adventurer.
You would not believe your eyes if ten million Fireflies lit up the world as I fell asle.... OW, HOT! AHHHHHGHGHGHGH
