What we learned from the spellbook tavern brawl is that being able to discover a card in your deck is actually pretty strong. I think it is good. Admittedly though discover effects/draw effects to me are worth 1 mana but this is 2 mana, however because this discovers a card in your deck than I guess it is more guaranteed you will get a good card. Anyway this does not "do nothing" because it may get you exactly what you need such as discovering a shadow word: death when the other guy has played a flamewreathed faceless. It may be slightly overcosted at 2 mana, however discovering a card from your deck may actually be worth the 2 mana because discover effects tend to be really good when there are narrower options. We'll see, I think this card is good but it may end up flopping as well, but in any case it is a cool card.
I'll definitely test it out, this will see standard play just to see how good it is.
This is not even close to Spellbook Tavern Brawl you will include this card to your deck and draw it and if you have two of this card in your deck you can discover other one. In the Spellbook Tavernbrawl you were not drawing any cards but automatically using a discover card for 0 mana and there were only 10 card in your deck.
Here is the big question though. If you get this card late game and there are no spells left to discover is it a dead card or is there a hidden 2ndary effect like wild growth?
Or maybe there's a token. There needs to be something, otherwise limiting spells in your deck to ensure you get what you want could be counter intuitive.

I meant that the card is similar to the peruse card in the tavern brawl, and there is no need to bolden "if you have two of this card in your deck you can discover the other one" I know it can do that. And peruse costs 1 mana and it is also a spell that discovers a card in your deck so there is a similarity there.
It is hard to see when this card will be usefull. You created an OTK deck you want to decrease number of filler cards in your deck and you put this card but in case of Otk if you put this card in your deck you don't lower the chances drawing cards you need. If you have the two copies of card at your hand that you require this will decrease chances of drawing minion you might require. This card doesn't look very good to me atleast it should have decrease mana cost by one that you discover so it would be fair trade.
By the way quest card always will be at your hand at turn 1 so you cannot copy a quest card.

You can mulligan the quest card to put it in your deck.. Although copying the quest doesn't seem like that great of a use for this card, it's still possible
Why should i play a 2 mana Discover a Spell from my deck Card when i also could put another spell in my deck Instead of this One ?
I mean, you play with 29 Cards just to Discovery a Card ....wich Is alrdy in you deck ...for 2 mana ? That means you have to sacrifice a slot in your deck for playing shadow Vision
Double mindblast ? 4 Mana and 2 Cards for 5 Facedamage ...i See the value
yes, its funny with Elise but...is it rly worth to Play ? What about Aggro, you pay 2 mana to Discover holy Nova ? So you spent 7 Mana and 2 Cards for holy nova for example?
I think this card won't see any play outside of some crazy/funny combo oriented deck and I doubt such a deck would be tier 2. Paying 2 mana to draw a card is just too much and you'll suffer too big of a tempo loss.
Maybe it might see play in some reno lists in wild, as it could improve consistency in drawing the cards you need. Often times a Reno deck will not have anything to do on a lot of turns anyway if they draw badly, and this could balance that out a little maybe. Still not convinced it would be good though.
At 2 mana it's probably too slow, but this card's effect is really strong. Increases the effectiveness of 1-of situational spells; I think it has uses beyond just being a combo enabler.
People talking badly about this one don't know how tutor works in card games.
Aside from Dragon Priest the class barely has any turn 2 play so the tempo loss is irrelevant compared to the possibility of ensuring you have that spot removal or board clear at critical turns.
Not to mention the card gets better at mid and late game, unless it is literally the last card in your deck.
It is true that some archetypes such as Dragon Priest may not need this tutor effect, but the card is very strong for both combo and control.

What are you trying to combo though? The only OTK deck priest has had that involves spells, is Velen OTK. You can run enough copies of damage spells in that deck already (2 times mindblast, 2 times flashheal). Admittedly, flashheal is rotating, but I don't think you can run this card to grab the mindblasts, because they are too expensive to play alongside Velen now anyway since Emperror Thaurissan is rotating. So unless they introduce some new possible combo's, I really don't see what you're wanting to tutor in priest. Only thing I can think off is Reno decks in wild might run this at a chance for a second entomb/death.
Velen in wild might be a thing, but I think running the flashheals instead is better and more flexible.
Holy crap there is alot of stupid comments in this thread. This isn't enabling OTK anything, in standard at least. It is hardly a combo card, especially with Thaurissan rotating out. I actually think this card could be very good in a Kazakus Priest for finding your board clear or healing potion. I don't think judging a card like this before we have seen all the new Priest spells is wise either. As is it's great for doubling the value of a single spel in Kazakus Priest and has some light synergy with Priest of the Feast. That's it.
So, against Pirate it's a 6-mana greater healing potion, and against Control it's an 8-mana Entomb? I'll take that. Pity it's not so great against Jade.
Why does the thread's title have a colon instead of an hyphen like other card reveal threads? I can't think straight since this morning because of this.
As for the card itself it's basically a third Shadow Word: Death/Dragonfire Potion. It will see play if control priest is viable this expansion.
Can't wait to test this card.
Where shall I start...

4xcopies of Purify
They should move Purify to the Hall of Fame or the meta will be so broken everybody will be playing Gwent :(
What if you copy your quest card ?

Seems ok.
I like! lot of potential to be great in combo priest, useful in highlander and generally if you need more board clears to counter zoo/aggro...
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
its a bad Card guys, rly

As an epic it should be 0 Mana.. That card as it is is just a common card.

Should you craft/disenchant (Golden) Sylvanas or Ragnaros?

Spoiler: there will be a card similar to Emperor in Un'Goro.
