Wow. A shittier version of Eadric the Pure, and even Eadric didn't see play. Here's hoping the Paladin quest isn't shit, or else Paladin will be dead in Standard for two expansions now.
Eadric didn't buff your 1/1s or make enemy taunts easier to kill. I'm not saying Tarim is great, but I'd definitely use him over Eadric.
Definitely seems like more of an aggro card. I could see it being used as a 1 of in whatever divine favor paladin exists after standard rotation. It's more likely to see play if paladins get more effective board spam.
i think its better than people are giving it credit for. Basically since it has taunt any minions he turns into a 3/3 for you opponent will take 3 of them to get through him and he also changes any tokens you have that might have been ignored into 3/3 which can now suddenly trade for anything they had or surprise lethal if you had enough of them.
If you play this against a Jade board that's already at that point with huge jades, you lost already.
and it's 10x worse than equality combos.
Exactly. You're better off keeping your minions stats as is while your opponent has 1/8, 1/9, 1/10, etc Jade Golems so they take up space and can't die easily. This is a 1 turn stall that kills your minions in the process the following turn, followed by the rest of the Jade Army
Hey guys, quick question? Does Eadric have taunt? No? Does Eadric buff your hero power? No? HUH... SO THIS ISN'T A STRICTLY WORSE EADRIC?! You guys are like the twitch chat of the world.
Looks cool as fuck. I think it's a bad card though. It could benefit the enemy occasionally, which mean you can't just drop it whenever you want, which means it's bad. Unles there comes a super tokeny paladin archetype, I think it never see play.
I think people are reviewing this as bad because they are looking at it from a control deck perspective. This is pretty terrible in control but absolutely fantastic as a top end card in an aggressive paladin list since your likely to have a board of a bunch of little crap by turn 6. Imagine having a board of 1 drops and the opponent plays a taunt like Ancient of War. Just drop Tarim and suddenly youve buffed your entire board and reduced their 5/10 to a 3/3. Easy gg.
If I don't get him from a pack I will craft him. Looks awesome. The art is so sick. Can't wait to see the golden version. Also very good for an aggro or midrange paladin deck. Good synergy with our hero power, and Muster in wild. Synergizes with Wickerflame, Marshal, but unfortunately not Handbuff mechanic.
I think he will work good enough in a divine shield deck
I think this fits right in with Token Paladin or Handbuff Paladin.
This is similar to Keeper of Uldamann, but acts as a semi-board clear if you have the same amount of minions as your opponent. As you will be guaranteed to trade evenly on board.
Also seems pretty good against Pirate Warrior. As Pirate Warrior typically doesn't go wide, instead just having 3 to 2 minions out on board with a weapon in hand. Could be a good way to lower the damage of a Naga Corsair or a huge Frothing Berserker.

This card is nuts in midrange! Could even work in control. This will be the next dirty rat! Terrible reviews, great card.
I see this running as a buff for murloc decks and a wall for divine shield decks
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
This is definitely worse than Eadric, why are people voting this playable?
another year I can't use my golden pally, feels bad.

This is looking like the best art in the set so far.

Way better than Eric. The former only defensively but this card can play offensively in mid game and defensive in later stage of the game
Yeah, it's going to look sick in golden.
That's disappointing. Complete anti-synergy to paladin's cards in the last expansion.

for an expansion that is all about big dino's and jades, this seems really good, keeper of uldaman saw play and this is AoE
True, It obviously isn't met for that kind of deck. The body itself is good to buff though.

FOR THE HORDE!

This works really well with Meanstreet Marshal and Argent Squire. Handbuff staples.
