Hey guys, quick question? Does Eadric have taunt? No? Does Eadric buff your hero power? No? HUH... SO THIS ISN'T A STRICTLY WORSE EADRIC?! You guys are like the twitch chat of the world.
Not to mention this is 1 mana cheaper and it makes enemy taunts much easier to kill.
It also combos with Finja very well. You have finja on board. Enemy puts Ancient of War. You use this card, kill the taunt with finja, get your warleader, finja survives and you get a bluegill to go face!
This card is very disappointing. The art is good, but this is a card that will very rarely see full benefit and will often be shooting yourself in the foot if you play it. This should be an epic if it exists at all. Would like a legendary for paladin that is almost always beneficial.
A 3/7 taunt against 3 opponent minions is still often a 2-1 advantage (trade plus a ping). Not insane, but really good. Feels like along the lines of Burnbristle in terms of power level?
Guys, this card is great news for Paladins! Not because of the card (which I think is too situational to work) but because everytime Paladin gets a mediocre legendary, we get amazing epics and other cards. Case in point:
This is another lackluster legendary minion. If you play paladin, you know there are no minions on your board on turn 6, that means you can't use this minion for buffing. Well ... you think maybe aggro deck has room for this card but 6 cost is too heavy. Then how good for debuff ?? No paladin can't deal 3 dmg from hand. Only Truesilver deal damage, but it cost too much for trade 1 minion. Paladin seriously needs 2 cost 3 dmg spell that every class has (that's joke). Another example how bad dev for creating paladin card. Boring not useful combo shit crap card. Totally disappointed.
Unless we see some cheap token generator for paladin this card is too situational. Needless to say its disgustingly bad against shamans and other paladins aswell not to mention its not good against pirate warrior nor mage. I think its just too situational and if meta wont consist of 50% jades then i dont think this card will see much play.
Maybe in a world of hearthstone where efficient single target removals arent a thing this card might have actually been good as it has what eadric did not TAUNT.
Also i tried to make some zoo type paladin in MSG but failed as paladin has no good finisher to buff your existing board. This might solve the problem.
It's really good tool for control and aggro. Against zoo, not too good you are going to trade most of your board with 3/3 minions and yes your small minions get to be more usefull but most of zoo minions are already small so no big deal for zoo.
Could you please try to write down some actual situations where this card would be good? Unless we have some very strong control vs jade meta this card doesnt have much use.

This is good, if u have more minions or weapon on board. Very flexible card
turn 5 stand against darkness, turn 6 gain 10/10 worth of stats.

Rest of the set: Muster for Battle, Coghammer, Shielded Minibot, Quartermaster.
TGT - Paladin Legendary - Eadric the Pure - Mediocre legendary
Rest of the set: Mysterious Challenger, Murloc Knight, Competitive Spirit and to some degree Tuskarr Jouster
WOG- Paladin Legendary - Ragnaros, Lightlord - Amazing legendary
Rest of the set: Pretty much only Forbidden Healing saw play and sometimes Rallying Blade.
MSOG - Paladin Legendary - Wickerflame Burnbristle - Great legendary
Rest of the set: Garbage.
So, getting a mediocre legendary means some amazing card are on the way (hopefully)!

If Paladin will be a thing after Un'Goro, I´m sure Sunkeeper Tarim will see play.
Another good legendary for paladin It is way better than Eadric the Pure
1. Eadric cannot buff your board but this card can do it
2. You cannot remove board more easily but with this card you can do it
3. it is same stats for one less mana + Taunt so when you and your oppenent have a board full of 3/3 minions this will protect your three 3/3 minion
So don't dare to call this worse than Eadric this has way better potential.
Well, it's really boring (let's make mega keeper of uldaman), but i think it will be strong in play.

It's like malganis buffing danksteeds I love it.
Also a way to deal with giant Jade boards.
