Great job Blizzard, you can now make no more balanced discard cards. Anything even remotely playable completely breaks the deck. Look at this, it looks like a 6-drop, so discard 2 for 2 mana discount. 2 problems:
discard is the opposite of drawing, so it's worth 3 stats. This only gets a discount of 2.
3/8 is actually only worth 5,5 mana instead of 6.
So this card is terrible. Yet it's possibly broken in Discolock.
How can a card be terrible if it's good in a certain archetype? Jade Idol is an incredible card but only very specifically in Jade Druid.
Bad in vacuum or in a deck that isn't built around the mechanic. Jade Idol is an example of a card that is primarily judged by it's capability to work in a deck built around it because the card is one dimensional and it's mechanic supports nothing but itself.
So this is for either an aggro deck or for a Nether Portal deck. Control wouldn't want to discard.
Aggro can definitely use it with Malchezaar's Imp and Silverware Golem, or just by having a super-low curve and relying on this as a crazy topdeck. Tempo is and always will be super powerful. Whether it will work in a Nether Portal deck is harder to say, discarding 2 cards is fine with an Imp in play, but without one it's a huge price to pay, especially if the opponent has an answer like Hex, Execute, etc. It's a bit similar to Flamewreathed Faceless in that regard.
Right... and it's a very good card. It's one dimensional and it only fits in one deck yet it's a very very very good, meta-defining card. Actually it's probably THE meta-defining card (along with Patches) of the last expansion. Lots of cards work only in one style of deck... that's like saying a footballer who's only good at playing striker isn't a good footballer.
I think this card is terrible and here is why. It is a control card that only works in an aggro type deck unless they make discard control cards viable some how. Second of all, in my discolock deck, having more than one discard card in your hand for example doomguard and soulfire really screws up your hand. With this minion being another way to discard 2 cards for 1 minion may hurt your hand more. Another reason is that doomguards stats should be at least 5/1 for its cost without the discard. The discarding two cards adds 6 health to doomguard. While this tazdingo discards 2 cards and only adds 3 health. Wtf

Its not broken in discolock because while you were fooling around with this and your quest you ran out of cards and are Life Tapping while your opponent SMOrcs you... This card sucks all over :(
Can't use it early game because you run out of cards. Can't use it Mid or Lategame because then its a waste instead of AoE plus big minion.

I don't think it'll be broken either, but we've seen 16 cards so far. Thus the word "possibly".
Only way to play this card is when your hand is empty than it will provide you momentum for late game. This card is playable but if you put only one at your deck
Okay, I think this card is a bit better than a lot of people are giving it credit for.
You can play it as a combo card. With Malchezaar's Imp on the board, it's downright good. You can also play it with Silverware Golem obviously for some insane tempo. Let's not forget that empty hands are a thing. Discarding two cards isn't a bad deal when you aren't actually discarding them. And of course there's the new warlock quest...
That being said, I don't think all of that is enough (yet). Warlocks need one or two more discard synergy cards to make it work, and I'm not talking about another Tiny Knight of Evil. The benefits of Malchezaar's Imp and Silverware Golem is that you end up with a net loss of 0 and that's why they make the discard mechanic so powerful. Without at least one more discard synergy value card of that caliber, I'm not sure we'll see this or the new quest actually being played competitively.

Fits the discard demon midrange deck I see zoo turning into. Will probably see play with the quest, Im interested.
Once again poor design by blizzard. A control body minion with a drawback that works only in aggro decks..

Turn 5 Malchezaar's Imp > this is pretty insane
Am I the only one worrying if they are gonna print a lot of good discard cards discardlock will just be OP without the quest?
Silver Hand Recruit
The downside is way to big for not such a powerful minion .
Doomguard can win you the game on the spot sometimes . This can't .

I was wondering today we'd get new discard lovelies. This + new legendary Lock spell pleases us.
I don't know, really.
My magic will tear you apart!
The votes on this LMAO. This card is soooo bad. You trade 3 health for 2 discard wtf is wrong with this community?!
For 1!! mana more you get a doomguard. there is a 3 mana 3/5 taunt in this set without drawback lets get real this is dust.
I think discarding one card for this would make it playable, two cards for +3 hp on Taz'dingo seems excessive.
Let me get that...
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Seems interesting with Voidcaller.
