It's meta defining depending on how the quest system rolls out for all classes... IE is it going to turn into a race to see who can finish their quest first? How many deathrattle cards are going to drop with the xpac? We just don't know enough yet. We are trying to wrangle this card into current HS, when we only know about 4 cards they are dropping
Card is going to be weak irrespective of the meta around it imo. Hearthstone is not going to suddenly become "everybody do your quests" and if it does then aggro decks will have a field day and the meta will speed right back up to counter it.

We still have to see what cards are released in Un'Goro, but yes, I can hardly see how Priest is gonna be able to have a playable deathrattledeck in Standard.
In Wild tough, it is clearly viable, not only thanks to the important amount of good deathrattles but also due to the fact Amara can be played in conjunction with Reno Jackson:

Mhm in Wild I can definitely see it a little bit more - and with some good deathrattles and some really good counter-aggro tools maybe it could happen in Standard too. The problem I feel is that it still isn't going to be enough to counter late game Jade Druid, and it's too slow to counter Pirate Warrior. If classes get other tools to handle these then maybe we'll have something.
So if quests count as spells, with the new discover a spell card, can you double up on this? And is it accumulating? Like does it have to be on the board and then 7 minions, or do previous ones count? Cause this becomes a much stronger "Reno/N'zoth" priest. 5 mana 8/8 super Reno?
I think the question here is mechanics. Does a quest work/classify as a spell, ans it discoverable with the new priest discover spell? And if so, can you limit your spells in your deck to 3 different spells, including the quest, and guarantee pulling the quest? Therefore two, possibly three copies of the quest? Wow. Seems OP.
This will be reasonable but not too strong. I like this card design from blizzard since this 5 mana 8/8 body is really strong in control and exceptional in midrange matchups if it can bait out removal before N'zoth. The health actually is not as strong as people think. Only in fatigue do i see this health being helpful as in against midrange and control decks health doesn't matter as much as board control and value. This shouldn't be too hard to achieve getting 7 deathrattles out but this card is dead in aggro matchups and relatively good in midrange/control ones.Overall i'd rate in more powerful than lets say Lakkari Felhound but not as much as Tar Creeper or Clutchmother Zavas
Maybe with this card, would Priests be able to still play the "one-card-copy" deck? A N'zoth/Kazakus control deck?
Amara, Warden of Hope could easly be the new Reno and for what we've seen of Un'goro till now, it seems that the meta will slow down a bit with lots of low cost Taunt minions.

In Wild, for sure: it adds consistency to the huge heals theme. See the following theorycrafted deck for instance

both seagulloit works like alixtraza and the hero replaces it sets your heath max to 40 and heals you to 40
here i come to wreck the day
I think it will also heal the hero up to 40. It is the same text as alextrasza
This is so broken...Wonder if Priests are going to have the only viable reno deck after he expansion

I... I love him.
No you can't discover it and it's not acumulating, set is not the same as add.
I... I love him.
I don't know about that, you probably can.

The hype for this card and for what can generate in terms of new decks is really high!
