this looks like a pretty good card. it really just depends because if we have an aggro meta then this card might not be that good. plus jade druid does not care that you have this card.
You have to dig up the spell first, THEN play the 7 minions, THEN play her.
Bruh by the time you should actually play her you shouldve won already lol
The spell will always be in your opening hand when the game starts.
Oooo that changes things... On one hand its still draw dependent as you are going to need to prioritize plays over her but at least its thinning your deck...
Still slow lol. But when you get her you win the game, as you should.
Not really.
If you play her and N'zoth near fatigue as control priest i'd call that securing a victory no? How else would you use her?
Wrote it already, but here it goes again:
Because aggro is a thing and you'll be dead before you get to play her. And if you win - it won't be because of her in 90% of the cases.
Because jades are a thing and by the time you play her you'll have 7/7, 8/8, 9/9 and 10/10 on board + either Jade Idol to roflstomp fatigue game plan or Devolve to roflstomp both her and N'zoth board.
I don't see the hype in this card. You HAVE to play this legendary spell on turn 1 thus are short a card for most of the game and skipped your turn 1. You then have to play 7 deathrattle minions which is a lot. Assuming you only ever miss a single drop you still don't get the reward till turn 9. A turn 10 5 mana 8/8 that full heals is not very exciting. This is also worse when you factor in you might not draw this legendary spell till turn 7+ or the fact you need to play with almost half of your deck with death rattle effects, thus playing sub-optimal cards.
The 40 life is solid, although I feel will be far to slow unless Pirates gets some significant hate cards or more nerfs as it only loses Sir Finley Mrrgglton and has a small nerf to STB, thus 90% of the deck is unchanged.
Edit: Jade Druid is still going to be a near unwinnable match-up and I doubt this will change that.
First of all, the spell is guaranteed to be in your mulligan. Now that is great but it also means you miss a card which can be a big deal in certain match ups, we will have to see. Second, the card says "summon" not play which makes a big difference, that means resurrect effects like n'zoth or onix bisop can make the quest counter go up. But i agree that VS. jade druid this card is not going to matter because if druid has no cards except for jade idol, then there is not much you can do.

Because Aviana+Kun is insane on paper, but how much real play it seen?
This card is overhyped AF, and nowhere close to Reno Jackson.
It's funny because all the Spike players also used to call Reno Jackson overhyped garbage as well when it was revealed. Very, very funny :)
People just got a meta full of Reno jackson and they still don't understand how powerful a full heal is, it's mind blowing.
It's stronger than Reno (8/8 taunt vs 4/6), costs 1 less mana (5 vs 6), is guaranteed to be in your hand EVERY GAME, heals for more (39 vs 29), has a less punishing deck building restriction (play 7 deathrattle vs no duplicate), and all it costs you is 1 mana on turn 1 and play a bunch of deathrattles.
I agree, it's nowhere near Reno jackson. It's way better.

...and comes far too late compared to Reno Jackson, meaning it will do jack shit against aggro which was supposedly made to counter. Good luck meeting your 7minion criteria before turn5 lethal.
So, if you can drop some very early deathrattles, the full 7, you won't have to worry about dying on turn 5, you'll be at 40 health. I think that extra 10 HP could completely wreck most everyone. I haven't seen the others or had to contend with whatever crazy decks people will build, so I can't be sure. Still, for such an early card, it looks pretty meta-defining. (I wonder if future expansions will add new quests, where you can only have one quest in your deck to stop crazy combos.

So, when a warrior uses Dead Man's Hand, what does that actually mean in terms of flavor? Is he the dead man? Does he cut off his own hand? Is that why he has Tentacles for Arms? Does he think that tentacles are actually as good as arms?
These reasons and more are why I think warriors are more mysterious than people give them credit for.

Please stop trolling with "you're dead on turn 3 vs aggro lol terrible card so slow lmao". This is trolling in its purest form. Priest is the easiest class to counter aggro, learn to play, you don't die on early game vs aggro as a priest, it just doesn't happen even vs perfect curve pirate warrior.
Even with the spell in your oppening hand this card is slow af. Don't fall for the sparkles they did the exact same thing with Elise and Malchezaar.

That's what I'm seeing too.
I can also see a potential for a very heavy control priest that uses deathrattles to stay alive/board clear combo'd with N'Zoth, the Corruptor
Ok those who are saying "this makes Priest's opening worse because it takes up a card slot in your hand," consider that Priest is almost never playing a card on turn 1 other than Northshire Cleric, and this is a guaranteed turn 1 play.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.

T1 play is not a problem here, -1 card that actually does something is. Cleric is a much better play by miles.

Can Yogg cast quest spells?!

Just release a 2 mana minion 1/1 with deathrattle restore 15 life to both heroes and this deck will be possible.
No you didn't.
Here's a simple example for you: Twisting Nether followed by Lord Jaraxxus.

This space intentionally left blank.
How are you going to call this meta-defining when you've only seen a handful of cards from the 135 card set? You haven't even seen the other quests...
