Things must be pretty good if this is what people are complaining about.
If I was pissed about pirates or shamans like everyone else I would just have posted in the salt topic. That's not what it is. It's a card discussion topic.
If we could cut out the shit-posting and de-railing this thread may remain open to discuss the interaction. If you have a problem with the thread, there is a report feature for every post. Use it.
No, that's part of the issue. He can be affected by Sacrifical Pact, but he is not affected by Crystalweaver, Demonfuse, or Light's Champion. Those are the other cards that affect a Demon in play but don't specify a Demon *minion*.
It's not consistent.
It is. Jaraxxus is not a minion and has no stat values whatsoever. It's perfectly normal that it wouldn't benefit from stat buffs.
Again, stop trying to raise dust for a perfectly legit interaction.
morgle doesn't have a printed card with the murloc tag, and that is why hungry crab doesn't eat him. and when you are jaraxxus, you don't have a demon, you are one. why would he get buffed?
How long this stupid interaction will remain in the game?
I've just lost a 20min game where I was favorite by far because my opponent got a sacrificial pact from a kabal courier. If Jaraxxus is on the board as a minion, sure, he's a demon but once he replaces your hero he should be considered as a hero too and shouldn't die to a 0 mana card.
Blizzard said many times that they don't like OTK combos but they left this stupid interaction in the game. It's like saying you don't like guns but you keep a rocket launcher in your closet for "fun".
Yes I'm salty that I lost to a noob that got lucky but either way I've always found that interaction completely stupid and poorly designed. Imagine a card that says "Destroy a Paladin if he has 15 or less HP" for instance, how fun would that be?
To answer your questions and assumptions from top to bottom:
1. Hopefully forever.
2. No, he should still be considered a demon considering he's a demon.
3. This is not an OTK combo, this is a fun interaction to make a card like Sacrificial Pact serve some function in the game.
4. Yes you are salty because you lost and can't get over yourself. There is no such card as "Destroy a hero if it has 15 or less hp", there is a card called Sacrificial Pact that kills demons. You choose to play Lord Jaraxxus whilst not having a single clue about what card your opponent choose from Kabal Courier.
I am pretty sure that you are the noob here because you got salty over your opponent knowing how the game works and simply did what litterally anyone would do in that situation.
Here you go - the place where this thread truely belongs.
Being salty = noob lol, that's a new one, especially when I say that I've always thought it was a bad interaction even before it happened to me today. My topic is just where it belongs. I brought arguments to the table, people do agree that it's inconsistent with other effects that affect demons. This is not a fun interaction, it's a poorly designed card. If yogg for instance had casted it on me I would have laughed. Killing your opponent with a 0 mana card is just stupid and again it's inconsistent with the other effects for demons. I don't care about the loss, that's not the point, I'm talking about a bad interaction. Imagine if Renolock was ultra popular and everyone was running sac pac in his deck to one shot his opponent, would you still think it's fun? No. It's not because the interaction is less visible than others, like the potion of madness + djinni recently that it makes it legit.
So what argument did you bring? Your first real argument came here in that "if Renolock was ultra popular and everyone was running sac pac" - here you have a concievable and realistic proposition. The proposition you made earlier that "<Card> Killing HERO with <=15HP; not fun"... but no such card exists. You need to first become a demon for it to be even realistic to speak of such a card when discussing Sacrificial Pact. The reason is very simple: it only does this to ONE card in the entire game. If you wanted to make this an actual argument then you would also need to petition that Hero transforms cannot trigger secrets nor can be the target of Type-specific battlecries (Light's Champion for an example).
At that point you are actually making a more realistic statement that can be convieced as a structurally sensible argument. In regards to your original comment... you are simply just whining.
And to debunk your argument that "What if Renolock became popular and everyone ran Sac Pact?"... that has already happened. Genuinely. Back during classic there was an era that would have made the notion of Dr. Boom forcing people to play at least 1 copy of Big Game Hunter laughable. Why? Because during this time of HANDLOCK it became more or less mandatory to run 2 copies of Big Game Hunter if you were either a handlock yourself or a control deck. Otherwise everyone just ran 1 copy of it.
And some folks did play Sacrificial Pact but it was rare. Why? Because you lost to everything else.
There is no such card as "Win the game if you PUT this into your deck"; there is however a chance to discover very good and situationally EXCEPTIONALLY strong cards when playing against a deck. If you put it into the deck, then you made a concious decision to build against that kind of a deck. If you got it off a completely random effect, then its RNG and its called "Varience" which is something is a big deal in cardgames as a whole. If it is from a limited effect that adds cards from outside your deck... then it is conviceable to call that a 'skill'; to be able to determain what is the best card available from a selection of cards.
You could as easily make the argument that "I was at 5 hp and my opponent discovered a Mind Blast from Kabal Courier" and folks will decry you as much as folks have done here. It is the EXACT same argument, the only difference that is relevant is the circumstance it derived from... and when you make a concious decision and your opponent makes a concious decision... the one that gets out on top is the one that has both conviceable and realistically so been the wiser one and won the game from it.
So... this is why you are whining and frankly... I am not calling people who for noobs, I call people who whine whiners and I call noobs for noobs. You came here to make a topic venting about your opponent beating you; not to discuss if the notion of a card such as Sacrificial Pact is fair or not. Its a class card designed to counter the same class - not much for a huge number of applications that it could be used for as a direct result making once again... this entire topic of yours not much else than into a whine-feast.
Edit: And to be more specific why I insist on this thread just originating from you whining... not a good opener to say "Yes I'm salty that I lost to a noob that got lucky" and then to go on to make the claim of "Destroy a Paladin if he has 15 or less HP". No such card exists. Lord Jaraxxus makes you a demon. There's a card for 0 mana that destroys demons. Not much else to discuss there as both are concious decisions or the decision to pick what you concieve to be the best card.
Logical arguments on the internet? Oh no my allergies!!!
You are just salty, because you don't deserved this lost. You know what? Its happening every day. I don't know about you, but every time im facing Nefarian as Jaraxxus, im dying to sac pact. I lost today as jade druid to reno mage, because I mulched he's Alex and he got Yogg-Saron that mind controlled 3 biggest golems on board out of 8 spells. I also lost today to a tempo mage who played 2 spellslingers for some reason and while ive got ancestral healing and shield slam, he evolved both of them into 7-7. If you salty enough to publicly cry about it on pwn main page just because of pact-jaraxxus, you are just newbie who still can't except undeserved loses. Get over it and be a man
Anyone who actually thinks this interaction should exist is wrong. Sacrafical pact is intended to kill minions with the subtype of demon. Hero's have no subtypes. Op salt is justified. Full stop. By this logic morgle should die to hungry crab. Why doesn't assassinate work when you turn into rag from major domo? Good inconsistencies blizzard, you fucking idiots. Design your game better.

Since Jaraxxus comes from a card, he does.

And since Morgle doesn't, he doesn't.

Because card text says "destroy an enemy minion" not just "enemy ".

do you play morgle to transform into him? if jaraxxus was just a hero skin it would be completely unjustified, but as is there is no reason to make this change. it's never been a problem since beta, and it's occasionally been a benefit to the game (making dreadsteed warlock more powerful, for example).
It should not destroy Lord J.
Name one other card interaction that is even remotely similiar. You may (if you want) use Majordomo into Ragnaros as an example.
It makes no sense from any point of view.
It makes perfect sense. Jaraxxus is a demon. It's logical that there isn't any other comparibel card interaction, because there's only two cards in the game that replace your hero and only this one has a creature type. Therefor it's a completely unique situation, because it's the single instance in which your hero can have a creature type and thus be effected by cards that target only a specific creature. Ragnaros doesn't have a creature type, so it's logical that there isn't a card that does something similar to him.
It's also not a combo. It's literally 1 card you play, your opponent has to play Jaraxxus himself.
Jaraxxus is one of the best legendaries and it's fine for there to be a single hard counter to it, especially because it's a rarely played card that is very unlikely to in your opponents hand when you play Jaraxxus.
How long this stupid interaction will remain in the game?

Ok I'm gonna make it very simple for you because your arguments are pointless. Imagine that in my OP I just said that the card was poorly designed and it has never happened to me. Then it all comes down to the same answer again and again and again no matter what your arguments are, rng, me being a whiner, etc. It's just poor design and the text should be changed to Destroy a demon minion, that's it. If I did that post just to whine then you came here just to show your better than me at this point. I did the post like 6-7 hours after the game. I was mad for like 5min after the game, sure. I wasn't when I wrote the OP. Stop targeting me instead of actually talking about the text inconsistency of the card itself. I'm just gonna drop the ball here because it's pretty obvious I'm talking to a pompous person.

Another one who fails to see the issue, tries to explain me how RNG works and targets me instead of actually talking about the poor design of the card... Please take a ticket and get in line. Being a man when talking about a children's card game is funny tho, I can grant you that. Good one lol.

Did you read any of the respones...?
A resounding "Yes" can be read throughout this thread and nothing else.
1. Oh trust me I did, you're just arguing alone, making up things I'm not saying and calling me a whiner when I'm not so I'm just letting you doing your thing, you seem to enjoy yourself.
2. I didn't read a resounding "Yes" but have it your way.

If Jaraxxus is on the board as a minion, sure, he's a demon but once he replaces your hero he should be considered as a hero too and shouldn't die to a 0 mana card as he's not affected by almost any other card that targets Demons.

Edited my post to reflect more my original opinion and prevent people to just call me a whiner.
15 health paladin doesn't put up 6-6 demons to board for 2 it puts 1-1 s. don't make stupid arguments. jaraxxus has huge upside one measly class specific card isn't even enough to counter it

I aggre with OP. Sacrificial Pact text should be Destroy a demon minion..etc
Otherwise one can ask why Hungry Crab doesnt kill Morgl xD

The real question is...
Why doesn't Hungry Crab kill Morgl?
Let's take all fun cards out of the game because who wants fun right?
Up next: Polymorph shouldn't hit Tirion.
morgle doesn't have a printed card with the murloc tag, and that is why hungry crab doesn't eat him. and when you are jaraxxus, you don't have a demon, you are one. why would he get buffed?

be kind and considerate
Since Jaraxxus comes from a card, he does.

But why it's not possible to kill morgl the oracle with the hungry crab?
