Reno decks require just as much skill as an aggro deck. If you get the wrong draw, you don't even get to play the card. On an aggro deck, if you run into a big taunt, you are dead too. People who like to theorize about skill and no skill on this or that deck, pls, stop
On a side note: 30 min matches are pretty stupid imho
I don't get this mentality. Everyone gets beaten by a clutch Reno once in a while or a mortal strike or a brawl or a leeroy. It's how card games work. You just hope more games are decided by how well you play.
This is delicious, all the rage and whining about Reno lol its PRICELESS.
Keep raging aggro fcktards, for now Reno is staying for 4 months more, a quite long run. After that, and having released 4 Highlander legendaries, i seriously doubts he gets rotated, so, either he will get added to Classic, replaced with a similar card, or extended for the duration of MSoG.
Personally i dont think he will be added to Classic, and neither he will be replaced because it would break Wild to have more "Renos", but i definitely think he will be extended for the duration of MSoG in standard, which means at least 1 and a half more year of Reno LOOOOL the aggro scrubtards crying.
Yea, Reno decks lose to aggro sometimes, whenever they fail to draw Reno, that's their weakness. But when they draw it, oh man how satisfying. And seeing these threads popping every now and then makes it even more pleasant.
Ahhh. Another player of the FACE variety. Seen commonly hanging out with Rexxar, Garrosh, and Thrall, this simple species has not yet evolved to gain the same level of intelligence as the rest of its kind.
So hearthstone has become Reno, jade or aggro? Sick! to bad that every other deck like, control warrior, control priest, control palladin, midrange palladin etc is not playable good job Blizzard, perhaps winrates will become more than 20% if you don't get a bad match-up
Play miracle rogue with red mana wyrm. Good match up against reno and druid. Rough time against pirates though. Also it's miracle rogue, so don't mess up ;).
I assume you are trolling. But just to clarify for the people who might believe that: If you say aggro needs as much skill as control, is like saying: All decks need the same amount of skill.
Control needs more decison making because you need to think early, late and midgame with a hand so full of cards you need to pay attention not to overdraw sometimes! And then as aggro you just play what you get and have mostly only to decide if going face or not. Every noob starts with aggro decks.
However, to learn combo decks is the hardest, harder then just control decks. Aggro, mid and control is just for the weak ;-) Except without control decks most combo decks wouldnt make sense at all...
I currently feel reno is almost at the strongest he's ever been. Previously with molten giants that were free at 10 health... that's when he was arguably his strongest; however, all the extra highlander cards that came out with MSG has made him even stronger... an autoinclude in a deck where he might not even be the sole purpose anymore. I get why people complain now; however, most people (in the past) would accuse the OP of- playing "cancer" decks or aggro decks as they are the ones that have the biggest issue with reno. I like murloc decks and they potentially have reno-issues if the opponent has a lot of aoe clears before I can buff their health up. He rotates out in 4 or so month so be patient, they made him strongest right before he's gone.
As a reno lock player myself I would just like to point out that I would LOVE to be able to play different decks. I like to build my own decks and try them out. But the fact of the matter is, if you're playing anything else then reno lock or aggro shaman you're just gonna get crushed by pirate warriors. So as someone that likes to actually have to make meaningful decisions and have fun playing this game, I'm forced to play a deck just for the sake of keeping my sanity intact. I don't care about getting to legend. I'd rather play 3/4 fun games per hour then 10+ boring aggro games. The fact that it pisses those aggro players off at the same time is just icing on the cake.
As a sidenote: about half the pirate warriors I faced made facepalm worthy misplays. Guess that just proves the Stereotype.
Someone killed me the other day with Aviana + innervates + Alextrasza + Malygos + spells. They got a "well played" from me because I've never seen that combo before.

Reno Jackson is our lord and saviour and I hope they put him in standard format and refrain from rotating him out. he provided the game with an all new archtype and gave rise to a viable type of play to help combat the ever rising aggro based decks that run rampant in Hearthstone.

Reno will rotate out, that's the whole point of standard. They knew some iteration of Reno would be powerful now but they also knew however good it was it was only for four months.
Sure Reno was cool and else but I guess I don't really wanna have Reno itself in Standard format when he rotates out. It is simply because of design spaces that Blizz can make another all-new healing effect (something like 8 mana 4/5 battlecry: When you have no cards in hand, restore your hero to full health). Design space is gonna increase to a quadruple when he goes out and I am sure that there is going to be something even cooler out in spring 2017
In my f2p account, I don't have optimized netdecks and hardly any MSG cards. When I queue up against Renolock, either they will not draw Reno in the first 16 cards and I have a chance, or they will and I concede. I'm not playing agro, I'm playing midrange mage who actually has to spend resources in the first part of the game, silly me.
But who are we kidding? They always draw Reno in the first 16 cards. It is a good thing that Reno is rotating out. However, I don't think the other Highlander cards are good enough (like the trash that is Kazakus) to keep the archetype alive.

Well good luck with kazakus and no reno. Against aggro especially. Reno is the only reason renodecks exist.

When I die, I want to go peacefully and in my sleep like my Grandpa. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.

I wonder how many days left. This heal mechanism is cheating.
Enough is enough!
