this is not a thread for bad cards, this is a thread for cards that was a clear missed opportunity, and overall underwhelming and dissapoiting
for me i was soo hyped by the kabal gang , but after seeing the mage legendary , probably the card i was most hyped about i was really really disappointed
Inkmaster Solia is basically a vanilla 0mana 5/5 that can be played in the late game, why not just play arcane giant , it doesnt require the no-duplicates condition even,
it's just overall boring and underwhelming, really hoped we would get something crazy like Kazakus
and the art was fantastic too, now dont get me wrong , the card might see play in reno mage , but it could've been so much more, it could have been the reason people played reno mage more , now it's just a vanilla 0 mana 5/5 atop of a big late game spell :(
For me almost everything that was Grimy Goons was incredibly boring. When those cards were coming in, I was getting worried for the expansion. Outside a few situational combos, they really just felt like tempo "Curvestone" cards in disguise. And then when Don Han'Cho was released I was just incredibly disappointed. After watching cards that had virtually the exact same text drop for a week, to see a legendary be so bland, a bundle of stats with some rng involved, really let me down.
Fortunately the rest of the cards have really picked things up for me, and seem a lot more interesting.

i agree with everyword , apart from the first statement :D
how playing a 10 mana spell , yes works synergistically with Kazakus , is not an insane effect....you are going to have a 5/5 body too.... This card is so OP in Correct Deck.

yeah it's potentially op, still dissapointed in the effect, such a waste of a design that could've been crazy, less direct, less vanila like Reno Jackson or Kazakus
I dont think it is boring, Id have to say my most disapointing one is the new Rogue legendary Shaku, the Collector
Shaku is definitely the most disappointing card for me. I've been holding out hoping that one of the unreleased rogue cards will synergize really well with it.. similar to the auctioneer seeming pointless until raza was released, opening up more potential for the card. I can't say that I see it though.
My vote goes to Mana Geode. I am generally pleased with the cards Priest has received so far this expansion but this minion doesn't do anything when you play it. Sure, it has the potential to do something but far more often than not it's just going to be a River Crocolisk that's not a beast. And Priest so desperately needed a quality 2-drop. I think some of the neutral minions out there will prove to be better alternatives.
I'm most disappointed about Rat Pack. Especially it being in the grimy goons faction, it has the potential to be way better than Infested Wolf, when just by itself it is better than the wolf. It's such a sick card to play right before a turn 4 houndmaster it's insane. I was hoping they wouldn't keep releasing such sticky minions for hunter but I guess not.

Probably the warlock legendary I thought he was going to be cool. but instead he turned out to be just, card-art no one voted on
I actully really liked Inkmaster Solia lol.

what you do not see for Inkmaster Solia is the potential to play a pyroblast, kazakus spell, etc on turn 7 (not 10!!) + drop a 5/5 body..
that card is more insane than you think.. :)
What song? Darude - Sandstorm
Lol, complaining about Inkmaster Solia, Jesus Christ...

I feel like i'm the only one who liked Don Han'Cho. They can't all be the most interesting legendary ever.
Backstreet Leper was the most disappointing for me. Great art on a garbage card.
Edit: Shaku was also a bit disappointing, but i'm cautiously optimistic that we will get some stealth synergy.
think about the combos this can be a trade gold mine.

Inkmaster Solia will be solid addition to Reno Mage decks. Shaku, the Collector is real disgrace. It shouldn't deserve to be epic let alone legendary.
Dead but dreaming
Devolve is a lazy card that feels like weak design to me

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.

We've got our new champion, Gadgetzan Ferryman.
