Definitely an underrated card. It's clear that not enough players understand murlocs these days. If murloc shaman is going to be played, then it'll be with this card in tow.
This sucks. No one is going to play Murloc Shaman, Blizzard.
uh.....i will.
When Everyfin came out I played like 20-30 games of Murloc Shaman because I was super excited (it could steal games but yeah, it was bad); I'm totally on board with trying it out again since this card combos well with it. We also don't know how much more support Murlocs could be getting as well, so maybe there's another piece to help push this over the top.
Also you really can't underestimate how much people like Murlocs, a friend of mine basically only likes building decks with them. Helping him refine Murloc Mage to climb to 20 was an eye-opener into how snobby we can get about our deckbuilding sometimes.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
On the one hand, we've got Muster for Battle, for 3 mana. That's generally agreed to be a good card, especially on curve. With the weapon and the bodies, you're in a solid position.
On the other hand, we've got Stand Against Darkness, which, while I was hyped for it when Steward of Darkshire was announced, was really pretty bad. The bodies are understatted for the cost, and there's no upside.
Now, both of these cards did have a bit of synergy with other cards from the class, Quartermaster and Warhorse Trainer, but while I've heard about people getting massive value out of Quartermaster with muster, I've never heard of it with SAD. Off the top of my head, it's probably because that literally requires both cards to be dead until you've got 10 mana, whereas 8 is much more efficient, and muster is at least passable any hour of the day.
So, take this card. 4 mana for a 4-4 statline. That's obviously on the same idea as SAD, and no weapon upside. Sounds pretty bad.
But, here's where it gets interesting. While this may, by itself, be just as bad as Stand, worst case you've got 4 evolve targets, and the murloc deck has gotten a lot more support, and at this point, you've got your Coldlight Seer, and your Murloc Warleader, turning this board into something really dangerous, or even following it up with a Grimscale Oracle to double your value out of this, potentially. This is neglecting a Murloc Tidecaller, which would, itself, become a force to be reckoned with, especially if it had already been on board, so it could hit for the full 5. And, people have already talked about the synergy with Everyfin is Awesome, which, while League isn't rotated out, makes this card effectively free if you were planning to play it. In short, I'd call this a good deal better than Stand Against Darkness, for a start. I'm not going to say better than Muster for Battle, necessarily, as that was an excellent card but I'm gonna be looking into this.
Meanwhile, over in wild mode, we've got some greats, Old Murkeye and Siltfin Spiritwalker, who can both up the value even further.
In short, I would be on the lookout for this card. Maybe it's awful. It wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong, but hey, worth a shot, right?.

So, when a warrior uses Dead Man's Hand, what does that actually mean in terms of flavor? Is he the dead man? Does he cut off his own hand? Is that why he has Tentacles for Arms? Does he think that tentacles are actually as good as arms?
These reasons and more are why I think warriors are more mysterious than people give them credit for.
Obviously pretty weak on its own, but like any murloc card has high potential. That said, at 4 mana it's not easy to play this and immediately gain value or be able to buff them, since most murloc decks start losing steam after turn 5. It's too hard to play this without finding a different approach to playing murloc decks. It's actually too bad that Siltfin Spiritwalker is out of rotation and that Everyfin is Awesome is rotating out in the expansion after Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.

Nothing wrong with some bad shaman cards. I'm happy with this card.

This art though.. Anyone else sensing a Teenage mutant ninja Turtles reference?

Okay, so let's think about this.

It's Important to keep in mind that Shaman has Everyfin is Awesome which actually makes this card REALLY good.
If you're making a Murloc Shaman deck, you're probably putting this card in.
