Ok These Jade lotus cards have been revealed only minutes ago but this is enough for me to conclude: Rogue is going to be the one taking the best jade lotus deck. Only bacause of rogue's tempo swing tools plus this card which ca do everything for rogue: early control, late finisher, tempo swing card, spell damage, card draw.. wow
not really. you forgot the most important tools to make it into the late game (and therefore abuse your growing golems): board clears and heals! which we are still lacking btw. why would i play these golem cards and watch my oppenent kill me if i can just run cold bloods and conceal as win condition and kill my opponent before he kills me?
Because the jade golem deck is actually slightly better against aggro since you will actually have a board to make trades instead of relying on things like board clears and heals.
So it's likely going to just be Coin + Jade Shuriken on T2 for two damage and a 1/1 Jade Golem then? The typical Coin SI:7 is better, but if your doing a Jade Golem Rogue deck I guess this is a good turn to start stacking those +1/+1's. Not really a fan of the Jade Golem concept however.

Plus you add defender of argus and faceless shambler and you're good to go.
Lotus is by far the strongest guild mechanik. If you play just 2 of those before blackpaw she will summon a 3/3 and a 4/4 thats already statswise completely broken and just 2 of those before turn 6 is insanely easy.
Its most likely even better and also this mechanik is not counterable since it only requires to play cards. Also Golem is easy outgrowing turn6 aoes...most of them will turn out to be useless.
Meta will be Druid/Rogue/Shaman, this mechanik is way way to good....sick.
Shamans can do 4 damage for 4 * mana, with Jade Lightning, rogues can do 2 for mana 2 except it has the condition to combo this card to summon the Jade Golem.
Exactly, thats blizz showing how they wish to contemplate one of rogue's core mecanic, making the cards strictly worse than they need to be, wonder why not make a 2 mana 3 damage spell like many others have, then needeng to combo to summon the golen, that would be ok.
Ed: tho for obvious reasons, will be in every jade deck.
Problem I have with this card is that it needs two Jade Golems previously summoned to be on a same level as SI7 Agent (basically a reverse version of it, 2 damage, combo: summon 3/3), so for balanced value you need to play 2 Jade Golem cards first, but you want to use it as early game removal, si it will most likely be just 1/1 or 2/2 that requires combo, and at that point, why dont you simply play SI7 Agent?
Wait ! Si7 is 3 mana costed, Jade Shuriken is 2 mana costed. So in order to be Si7 level (we're speaking about the king of tempo, not the least!), it should be 2 mana summon a 2/2 (if for 1 mana difference you remove -1/-1 of stat). I agree on the fact that you're keen to play this card as soon as possible so you'll often just summon a 1/1. So by itself it's not that good but some more Jade golem makes it way better. And Si7 is not subject to Spell damage, nor Preparation.
At this point, I'd say, why not both ?
Yup, for some reason, I forgot that this card is two mana.

What this misses is that even if it is just a 1/1, it is also +1/+1 to all later golems. I think we would have to accept that the first golem made in a game is going to be bad value, but a necessary step for crazy value later on
Why anyone would ever play this garbage when Eviscerate exists is beyond me. Can they release at least ONE GOOD ROGUE CARD per expansion, jesus christ.

Do yourself a favor and look at what a jade golem is lol. If golem rogue is a thing, then this card will be a fairly big reason why.
It kind of goes without saying but Jade Shuriken is good in Jade Golem decks. Unlike most Jade Golem cards though, this one isn't that bad outside of a Jade Golem deck. It's not great but it's not terrible. I don't see this being played in constructed outside of a dedicated deck, especially since rogues have Eviscerate but in arena, I can easily see this being picked even without other Jade Golem synergy.
TBH this is essentially a higher damage On the Hunt that gives all your other jade golem cards a +1/+1 buff. If you're running a lot of jade golem cards, that's virtually like this card (and the rest of them) all having the mistcaller effect attached.
I'd remove a turn 2 aggro minion and summon a 1/1 and get the mistcaller effect for 2 mana.
So the question is simple, what is better for your deck, a card that always deals 1 and draws a card or a card that deals 2 and IF in a combo summons a minion which stats depends on what you have played before.

Golem rogue LMAO, you people are so clueless you don't even how this class functions. These kind of value decks mean nothing when it takes 10 + turns to build a decent sized golem/nzoth/cthun, whatever, you name it, midrange and aggro will destroy you. Rogue can't play the value/control game because 1: it has no board clear 2: it has no heals. This is the same half-assed attempt at a deck peddle rogue was. It might entertain you folks at rank 26 i guess, but that's about it.
The coin was a good start, guess this class has to settle for one decent card per expansion, like Tomb Pillager

Don't forget, it makes other cards that make golems better, and it makes Aya significantly stronger as one golem prior to her really makes her a serious threat.

While this is not fabulous at all, I managed to run all those decks to rank 8 : Reno Rogue, Renorattle Rogue, C'thun Rogue, N'Zoth Rogue, Tempo Steal Rogue. And this deck to rank 5 : Dragon Rogue. So Rogue is not limited to Miracle to go over rank 26. Most Rogue decks just happens to lack a little something, which is heal. At this point, even AOE are trivial (if you really wanted one, just run Vanish, it's a extended Sap after all).
That little thing could as well be Mistress.
Im gonna have to agree with the first user: rogue is not equipped to go for value. At best, we can afford some tempo/combo plays. This is usually gonna be used for removal, meaning you will likely get a 1/1 or 2/2 at most in the early game. If you can combo it. Compared to backstab, eviscerate or even si7 its not that great a card. Sadly blizzard is making the mistake to push rogue towards a midrange deck, which is gonna make it quite boring.
Seems sort of bad. Should be 1 mana or not require combo to be viable. As others have said, rogue really just needs survivability against aggression, and this mechanic feels way to slow to work at first glance.
Doesnt fit into maly rogue at all as some have suggested. Shiv is infinitely more valuable to cycle through your deck than 1 extra damage and a useless token when combo is your main objective.

I think we need to wait and see whether or not they print more Jade cards for the class and whether or not those Jade cards are spells, in a Miracle shell it could be possible to cycle thru' all of the Jade cards to build up a board in a single turn or the cards could be good enough in and of themselves to delay aggro or the tokens combine with dagger to get value. I mean just imagine we get three spells that are all removal in one form or another, it would be really easy to out tempo with that kind of build up. If all of the jade tokens are generated thru' Combo, that's potentially really good for us because the cards can be solely on par for value since they come with a condition instead of relying on the tokens to build up over time like the other classes.
I understand the cynicism when it comes to Rogue cards, but they could make this work IMO.

need take time to make new pic and signature using the new cards.

Perhaps won't replace eviscerate, but I'd definitely replace Shiv with this.
Man this card sucks :S
