For most weapon 1 durability is the exact same as destroying it so the effect is only marginally weaker than Ooze, particularily when dealing with Ashbringer, Atiesh and Spiritclaws (as far as the current meta is concerned).
That said this is more likely just going to be an arena card. Ooze is stronger and costs less mana and if that's not enough there's always teching in Harrison as well.
So, solid card, not particularily overwhelming, certainly not good enough to make the cut but a solid arena card.
I think this is as clear indication that ooze's effect will be nerfed to only remove one durability, too, at some point. Otherwise, this makes no sense.
This card is very important for arena. There is only one weapon removal in the entire game that you see a decent amount in arena, acidic ooze, and getting at least one weapon tech is a huge deal in my experience. Many people will write this off as a lazy card but in reality it is great for arena.

I think we might see Poisonous Swamp ooze ran in Reno decks as an extra anti-weapon tech but that's really the only place in constructed I see it being played. It is definitely a nice addition to arena.

If Pirate Rogue with weapon abuse becomes a thing because of Patches the Pirate becomes a thing, this could see tech in decks that already have a super heavy 2-drop slot?

UPDATE: Actual card name is Toxic Sewer Ooze instead of Poisonous Swamp Ooze.

Just worse than normal Ooze. Likely to see no play. I really love the art though :D
Worse than Acidic Swamp Ooze and Harrison Jones, better than Bloodsail Corsair. Glad it's in the game, but probably won't see play.
EDIT: Unless weapons become a huge problem. Then Reno decks might run it. But non-Reno decks can just run 2 Swamp Ooze...

Fine arena 3 drop. Never will be used in constructed. +1 mana and a weaker effect will not ever help a card.
Huh-woo? I'm not even sure how to feel about this.
another elder brother (and weaker) of classic card ?

It's a direct upgrade of Acidic Swamp Ooze and that's what it's meant to be. Pretty good.
Nice, i think this means we will see some more secret removal cards.
Arena-only pick, and not a good one.
worse than ooze. won't see play

Pretty solid for arena. Not enough for constructed.

No, I don't see it being a thing either.
Will see play as much as Bloodsail Corsair. Which is, via discovery.
Blood Corsair with Dark Peddler, and this one with Jeweled Scarab.
