I enjoy Rogue most among the classes, but I also play quite a bit of Control Paladin. Accordingly, I am interested in two legendaries at present: Edwin and N'Zoth.
Edwin would fit well in miracle-style Rogue builds (I have several but the absence of EVC is glaring in many games), but I also enjoy the concept of a deathrattle Rogue (with N'Zoth as the late-game finisher). N'zoth could also open up some options for Paladin lists (and possibly other builds I haven't thought up yet with other classes).
I know this isn't the answer you want, but I would honestly consider holding off until the next expansion. You could want to craft a card in 2 weeks completely different to play a new interesting deck.
If you can wait no longer (Grom anyone??) then it really just comes down to what you want to play. Edwin is definitely a really strong card in miracle decks and can be it's own win condition or just be a high tempo backstab 4/4 Edwin vs fast matchups. N'Zoth's effect is irreplaceable, and non murloc control paladins will struggle to work at all without N'Zoth. That said, N'Zoth decks are generally a little too slow in the current meta, but that could change with the expansion, who knows! It really just comes down to what you want.
That's actually exactly the kind of answer I was looking for... thoughtful and detailed. I've been putting off Edwin for a long time even though I really enjoy Rogue and he's essential in practically every list, but there's something about the Old Gods that's just intriguing. Maybe I should wait for Gadgetzan and make the decision after we know everything that will be in the format.
N'Zoth is so unique and powerful that i would rather craft him if you already have the good deathrattle minions
I have Sylvanas, Tirion, Xaril... I could put together some good lists.
Well since you have Sylvanas and Tirion, i would craft N'Zoth or wait for the new expansion. Whichever you wanna do. Sure Edwin is powerful, but N'Zoth defines decks and can't be replaced. Atleast Edwin can be somewhat replaced with Questing Adventurers, some people even preferring to run them instead. N'Zoth can fit to many different classes too, so you'll get more value out of your craft.
Very tough choice. I crafted N'Zoth immediately after I busted all my Old Gods packs and didn't get him; I did not regret that one bit. I too put off EVC for a loooong time (I just crafted him about 2 months ago, been playing since classic), but also did not regret it one bit after the craft (wish I had done it much sooner). So I will leave you with this: EVC is used in basically every Rogue deck; N'Z is used in one type of Rogue deck, but also in many other types of decks from other classes.
Honestly, if it were me, I would flip a coin to decide lol. You really can't go wrong with either one, and the playstyles of both are equally rewarding for different reasons. For instance, I learned it is usually the right decision to Coin+EVC on turn 2 against Priest. They have a reeeeally hard time dealing with a 4/4 on turn 2. Sometimes that tempo alone is enough to win you the game since you can basically control their board with ease at that point. N'Z opens up a TON of combinations though. You can use him aggressively or controllingly (is that a word? idts) and it works well both ways. Raptor Rogue being on the aggressive side of the spectrum, and N'Z Pally being on the control side of the spectrum (just to list 2 examples).

N'Zoth is so much more fun, but Edwin is probably more consistent value. So the question really is: are you a Timmy or a Spike?
I had no idea what you meant by Timmy or Spike, but Google set me straight. I think I'm a Timmy/Johnny, so I would probably get more enjoyment from N'Zoth?

I'm a Timmy/Johnny, so yeah, I'm all over N'Zoth. :)
Pretty spot on this Timmy/Johnny thing. Yes, get N'Zoth. Taste the essence of their souuuuls, get a huge fuckin Board and play Thaddius with him in wild :')

Nzoth is more fun and hes safe option (on wild hes played in every single deck)(in standart paladin warrior and rogue)
