I don't plan on keeping any golden cards I don't have two copies of until I have every card I want. Priority for me is a full collection over some special shiny cards.
I DE every golden card. IMO if there are cards any cards missing in my collection I would rather have them, even if they are not currently in the meta because they next set might make them viable.
When I started to play HS I used to DE every single golden card I'd get (even legendaries, if they were crap ones), but since I have a nice collection atm, I've decided to keep the ones I'm going to use (I have golden Brawl and Frothing Berserker I use often, for example).
Generally - if you're short on dust and want to craft something, DE all the way. If you've got a nice collection, keep it for fun. You can always DE them later to craft stuff. Also I'd advice to hoard up some dust and gold for the next expansion, unless you desperately need to get a card now.
DE all golden cards that does not have a high chance of getting nerfed. Like if you had Yogg before he got nerfed you should keep him because that is 3200 dust. Cards that will not get nerfed you DE
It's all preference. I look at the dusting system as SKUed toward Blizzard - we get very little dust no matter what. Unless I REALLY need a card I generally wait until nerfs to get full value from everything.
1/4th value is poultry and golden cards can be hard to come by. I'd say save the goldens if you have them/like them - if you need the dust then go for it!

Currently attempting to get 12 Win Keys with each class. (Complete!)
Sure it's nice to have golden cards but if they are no use to you then why keep them. If the meta ever changes to where you end up needing one then craft it when you need it. I go through all my cards and if I have two of one card but there will NEVER be a situation where I think I'll need two then I disenchant one of them and craft something I need or want. Good dust just sitting on the shelf, break em. Make something you'll enjoy
Only keep golden cards that create other cards. For instance, never disenchant a golden Evolve. It is just too sweet to see all those golden minions on the board.
Otherwise DE all your extras!

I have two regular copies of Forbidden Healing, but yesterday I got a golden one from a pack.
Golden Epics are having a crafting cost of a regular Legendary card: 1600 dust to create / 400 dust if disenchanted .
I have 490 dust, and if I DE this third copy, I will have 890 dust, making a straight way to get a legendary card soon.
Disenchant, absolutely!
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
The regular do the same thing as the Gold so why not DE?
Every Gold Card i DE
I always DE golden cards if I have two regular copies of it.
It all comes down to your personal preference.
I personally don't DE my golden cards unless I really need the dust to craft another golden card which I will actually use.

Really depends on if you like the golden version of the art lol otherwise DE them bastards lol
Do or do not. There is no try.

If it's useless for You then why not ?
From someone who has been collecting golden cards at great expense since HS release, disenchant it. You do not want to get bit by the "golden bug".
I treat golden cards just like any other duplicate. Keep it if you might need it and dc it when you need the dust.
Golden Heroes(Ordered by acquired): Hunter. Paladin. Warlock. Mage. Shaman(hehe thanx blizz free-be) Warrior and Druid.

I've no clue what I'm doing...

Taz'dingo! Ye-e-es!
Rank last season: Legend rank 5477
If it's an excess card then DE it with a clear conscience.
If it's a card you can use then keep it as insurance against getting another copy of that card.
If it's trash like Tentacles for Arms then save it for when you need the spare dust.

Paladin, Priest, Hunter, Mage, Druid, Warlock, Shaman, WarriorCurrent arena win average 62.1% 11/1/2017 (5-8 wins per key)
If you're short of some essential cards, then disenchant them, why not.
I usually keep ones that are useful or those with the art i like, but that's purely personal preference.

Stay thirsty my friends
But sometimes instead of getting a card in regular form it comes in Golden form.
Now I have a Golden Alarm-o-Bot, a Golden Dread Corsair, Golden Kirin Tor Mage, and of course the Golden Deathwing.
