This card is defiantly a push towards contro Hunter as it satisfies both 'control the board' and 'dealing damage to the enemy hero' just as Hunter always does.
Normally, contro play style is that you, live longer than the enemy. However, due to the nature of hunter's hero power, is all about killing the enemy before they kill you.
But this card alone is not enough to push contro into Hunter. Even with in hand buffs. However, it's not bad. It is a solid 5 drop and I am very happy to include it in a midrange deck.

So... What happens if this minion dies while attacking into another minion? (Killed by minion, not other effect) Does it still 'hit' your opponent?
Its says 'after' meaning it has to survive first.
"after" it "attacks". So it doesn't have to survive to deal damage, the damage will be dealt to the hero as soon as it attacks the creature.
After is a word which suggests that the effect occurs after all other effects occur (Wild Pyromancer survives its own clear if you hit it with Power Word: Shield, because its effect triggers after the spell is completed. Basically, after will be the final thing to trigger in the list of events. So if the minion is no longer alive once the events have reached the point where the after event would trigger, it won't because it's no longer alive. More or less, anyways.
Heh heh. Reminded me of the times where opponent hero is healed from death via Zombie Chow...
What the hell is this lazy creation I expected something more interesting from them but atleast this is a playable legendary for hunter but you need atleast 4 attack to play this against priest.
Yes. Bolf overrides any damage applied to your hero and takes it for himself until he takes lethal damage. So if he was at 5 health and you hit him with Knuckles, he would take 2 3 damage hits, one from Knuckles and one from the face damage.
Why is a Gorilla a beast but a Gnoll is not?! That's not cool. :'(
Gnolls are classified as humanoids according to WoW biology.
Gorillas are classified as humanoids according to real-life biology. I don't think being Humanoid is the seperator for whether something is a beast or not.
Meh. Losing 1 or 2 stat points for an ability that is pretty unlikely to trigger. At the very minimum I'd have liked this to trigger when your opponent attacks into it. No such luck. Stranglethorn is probably just better.
Effect and stats are excellent. The mana cost is what will determine whether this sees play. I feel it would have been better as a 4-drop as turn 5 is when big minions start dropping and that can make it harder to trade.
It definitely needs at least 1 Goon buff to be playable, imo.
Normally, I'd say this card is just too slow. But with the new meta they had shown the hunters, I don't think this is that bad since it just might receive enough buffs for it to be good.

It's not that hard: control wins aggro and loses to midrange. Combo should never be included in this equation.
I'm a banana. Bananas don't speak English. Please, do correct any grammar mistakes I make, even the most minor and insignificant ones.

Unplayable bad. Stats are total shit a Turtle for +1 mana gain +1 attack is a terrible trade and the effekt is hardly relevant. One of the worst cards of the set sofar.
My first thought was, cool: MtG Trample (even though Trample applied to the "face" only the damage above the blockers toughness (eg attacker's power minus blocker's toughness).

This is nothing like M:tG's trample.
Trample deals leftover damage to the player. If you hit a creature with 2 toughness with a creature with 5 power, the opposing player takes 3.
If this guy deals 5 damage to a creature, the player takes 5. Basically, not even your Taunt minions can keep you safe.
The only way to make Hunters trade is to let them still hit face lol
If you hit Bolf Ramshield will he take 6 damage?
If the face plays taunt, me still go face.
Looks like it's only works when Knuckles attacks, not when he deals damage to the attacker.

Priest players relax; his Attack isn't 4.
