Rumors are rumors. I don't think Miracle is really strong right now, it's just OK. I know he's common in some other decks but I like a combination of slow/controlish decks and big combo decks.
Half. Half HP should be the max any combo can do in this game. Since everyone starts at 30 HP and most classes can't heal that much, doing more than half of that straight from the hand is ridiculous. It might not "OTK" but it's close enough to be very anti-fun.
Except that it's not direct damage but minion charge damage. Leeroy can be blocked by taunts, or reduced by lothab or narubar weblords or secrets, etc. It's an annoying combo but prepping for future attacks is part of the game's strategy.
Also I doubt he will get nerfed, the creators have said multiple times that they would rather balance cards with new cards than nerf old ones, there are already balances for the miracle rouge. If he somehow became a serious threat again I could see a card that removes enemy charge for a turn or until removed or increases cost for charge cards, etc.
If Blizzard is wanting to nerf cards, they should logically go for things that actually make the game less enjoyable. Not that 18 damage Leeroy Jenkins are fun, just don't nerf him too much or else there will be even less diversity in the meta. However, facing hunter and zoo over and over again makes the game less enjoyable because it really limits what decks you can play without losing horribly. I hope Blizzard can change this so that Hearthstone can become more than trying to counter some annoying deck or class.
