This card is broken. An opponent summoning a minion from your hand is not positive. It summons a 2/6, with taunt, for 2 mana, it takes away a card from your hand and maybe it costs you to lose a battlecry or a synergy with an other card you were saving AND it's neutral...
Great synergy with Brann Bronzebeard. EDIT : KAPPA /!\ WARNING I'M BEING SARCASTIC
I like the card, a deathrattle instead of battlecry would have been great for mill decks but nonethekess i'm gonna try it in various decks (buff priest?).
NOTE: I have no inside info, just a lot of experience. People here seem to be assuming Dirty Rat pulls the opponent's summoned minion out of their hand. This is (probably) incorrect. Instead it summons a copy from their hand, also ignoring battlecries. Otherwise, Dirty Rat would be worded like Ancestor's Call.
You are actually right, the wording is different, but if we're talking about wording we should also take a look at Mindgames that states it puts a copy of minion on the board from the deck, so if Dirty Rat indeed puts a copy into play it should be worded like that it puts a copy.
However, it is logical and it should be that the minion gets summoned, but stays in hand in case of Dirty Rat, but Blizzard is know for their inconsistency in wording.
I kind of see Dirty Rat as 2 mana 2/6, Battlecry: Maybe lose the game.
The risk vs reward is just not worth it. This type of drawback is on par with Millhouse Manastorm. If your opponent can capitalize on it, you're just handing them a free win.
It's nice to see Blizzard bring something new to the table but I feel the stats are far too low to risk this effect. Now, I'll probably play around with this card but as it stands, I don't see it being played.
I don't like this card at all. It has a chance of ruining my fun OTK decks by pulling an essential minion from my hand. On top of that, its a really good 2 drop to get from Piloted Shredder in wild and arena. Overall, not fun at all.
A match against an OTK deck it's only fun for the one with the OTK deck. The other player is just playing agains someone who plays the less interactive kind of match possible who is abusing about the fact that HS doesn't let the oponent to anything to prevent the OTK aside of killing the enemy faster. OTK decks in HS are way more toxic than in any other TCG. The fact that this card makes worse OTK combo decks it's something that makes me love it even more.
It seems you can't read or do not understand what "fun otk deck" means. My 3 otk decks are inconsistent requiring around eight cards including Thaurissan to pull off, two of them can't go through taunts, and one requires your own board to be empty. Also yes, there is a lot you can do against otk decks, its called armor, which demolishes all three decks. Milling works as well if you get lucky.
Also how is trying your best to make best possible plays to survive and remove opposing threats exactly uninteractive, none of my three decks is a mage so its not like i can Frost Nova and Ice Block all day long or something. Go to the salt thread if you wanna complain some stupid shit, don't take it out on me.
Wow..even better than Deathlord. Not only does it cost less and only have 2 less health, but the only real way that the RNG is going to screw you over is when your opponent gets a bad starting curve and you summon something like a Rag or Ysera from their hand. The only situation where something like that is gonna happen other than a bad curve is when you're fighting a Dragon deck that purposely keeps a large dragon in their opening hand to trigger the effects of all their cards that rely on having a Dragon in their hand, or if it's a Ramp Druid. The only thing that makes it worse than Deathlord is the rarity/dust cost. I rate: Meta-Defining
Interesting card! May end games on turn 2 with quick resigns either way. You drop it and it pulls his 12/12... yeah gg.
You say that's rare, but if you face me, I nearly always pull my largest and most-unplayable-for-8-to-10-turns minions in my mulligan... always. So this could help me HUGE... lolz.
Why are you guys comparing this card to a card from an adventure?
Where it's from doesn't matter. They're both cards that are able to be put in a deck.
Adventure cards are typically stronger in comparison to expansion set cards, are they not? I don't disagree with the comparison but i simply see it as being a bit redundant.
Does everyone remember the Hungry Dragon hype? Summoning a 1 cost minion for an opponent does NOT equal +3 stato, let alone a potentially catastrophic minion. Imagine summoning a Ragnaros or Antonidas or Malygos or DOOMGUARD on turn 2. GG.
Not exactly, it is a 2 cost minion, turn 1 with coin, opponent don't run lots of big minions in most cases and in start of the game the normal behavior is trade the big minions for cheap minions and spells, Millhouse Manastorm have a much more severe drawback, all opponent spells are free in that turn, you play a draw spell and cast 2 or 3 after killing the Millhouse.
Millhouse maybe playable if the only the first spell in that turn is free, is become hard to turn the game in a complete disaster.

This could also be a decent lategame topdeck if your opponent has no minions in their hand. Maybe.

The Roshambo to Hearthstone. Please be nice. Don't insult or be mad at someone for throwing Rock.
This is a 3class card for Paladin, Warrior and Hunter !

My custom cards thread here (53 cards)
There is a chance for opponent don't have any minion in hand when you play.

This gives me a reason to keep Ragnoros in my starting hand :D
